I feel as if my mind's slipping, I can't help feeling my life's going to end.
We go to a little nightclub not far from the venue. Sophie and Ghost are chatting animatedly while Endymion has his arm around his girlfriend's shoulders. I am behind them, talking to Ricky and Balz. Behind me is Chris and TJ. Sophie is giggling at something Ghost said and I smile slightly, not realising Ricky asked me a question until he nudges my shoulder.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" I ask him.
He smiles, "I asked if you have a boyfriend or anything."
I shake my head, "No, I've been looking but, I haven't found the right guy, yet."
He and Blaz exchange looks and I'm about to question them about it, but we are at the club. It's packed and the line goes halfway around the building. I raise my eyebrows at them and Chris strides up to the bouncer, talking to him for a few minutes before turning back to us and motioning for us to follow him. I look at Soph and she just winks before sauntering into the club behind Chris, dragging her boyfriend with her. Horror looks at me and extends his arm.
"Shall we?" He asks, causing me to giggle.
"We shall," I reply, placing my hand on his arm and walk into the club with him.
Inside is packed with people dancing and drinking. Horror pulls me over to the bar where everyone else is. "What would you like?" He asks me, leaning down to speak in my ear so I can hear him.
"Get me anything," I reply.
He nods and turns to the bartender. I look at Chris who is watching us with a weird expression in his eyes. I furrow my brow at him and tilt my head in confusion. He only raises an eyebrow before turning to the drink that was placed on the bar top. Horror hands me a drink and I take a sip, feeling the sharpness of the alcohol.
"What is this?" I ask him.
"Devil's Breath," he replies with a mischievous look in his eyes and a smile that says he's up to no good.
I take another sip, "It's good," I tell him before tipping my head back and drowning the shot. "I'm going to dance."
I take Soph's hand and drag her away from Balz and Ghost and onto the dance floor. A song comes on that I don't recognise, but, I let it take over my body. I sway my hips and let my hands wander up my sides into the air while Soph comes up behind me and grips my waist, giggling slightly. We dance like this every time we go out, it's nothing new, and it drives the boys crazy.
"Hey, Birdie," she says, using the nickname she gave me. "I think you have an admirer."
"Who?" I ask her, turning my head slightly.
She leans in close to me so her lips brush against my ear, "I'll give you a hint, he's tall, sexy, and is the lead singer in our favourite band. He's also looking at us with jealousy in his eyes and sending me death glares."
I gasp, "You think so, Soph?"
"I know so," she replies demurely. "Here he comes right now, I'm going to slip away and let you have fun." I feel her hands slide off my waist as I continue to dance. I close my eyes, letting the music take my thoughts far away from here.
I jump slightly when new hands rest where Soph's were before. "Hello, Raven," a smooth voice says in my ear.
I shiver, "Hello, Chris."
"You are looking so appetising. It's very hard for me not to swing you over my shoulder and leave so on other man can look at you in this way," he growls in my ear, grinding against me slightly.
I gasp as his words wash through me, I moan softly and tilt my head back to look at him. "Is that so?"
"Raven, you're mine," he says, kissing my ear.
I tilt my head to give him access to my neck, "Since when?" I ask him through a moan.
He smirks against my neck, the cool metal of his lip rings making goosebumps appear. "Since now."
