Raven POV
And so, I begin to heal once more, I settle into a routine that's comfortable, I go to work, either Sophie or End pick me up, and we go back to their house. Chris gave End my cat and all my stuff back and he gave Chris my collar. It hurts, I'm always feeling the dull ache that I'm missing something and I often find myself conflicted between calling him or not. Sophie tells me that I should go what feels right but I should make myself my number one priority. Angelo tells me that he's surprised Chris would do something like that and I should take into consideration that the last few subs he had played him, but it just feels like he's telling me to walk back into the lion den right now.
When I walk into the shop, Jace smiles at me and I smile back, putting my stuff behind the counter and taking out the appointment book.
"I think Ange wanted to talk to you," Jace tells me.
I nod and hand him the notebook, "He in his office?"
Jace nods and I knock on the door before opening it. Ange glances up at me as I walk in.
"Hey, Rae, have a seat," he says.
"What's up?"
"I've been thinking and watching you progress and I think that pretty soon, you'll be able to take on appointments by yourself."
I gape at him, "Really?"
Angelo nods, "But, first, I'm going to give you the piercing appointments just to give you practise and when I feel that you're comfortable, you can tattoo. For the first few appointments, either Jace or I will sit with you, sound good?"
I nod eagerly, "Thank you so much, Ange."
He chuckles, "How have you been in other aspects?"
"I've been better," I admit, "But it's not as bad as when I was with Andrew. It's more of that Chris made a mistake and we need some space. I might call him soon."
Angelo nods, "Chris is no doubt punishing himself, I've been talking to the guys and from what they tell me, he's having a hard time. I'm not telling you to make you feel guilty, I'm just letting you know."
"I understand."
"Alright, go help Jace, I'll be out in a bit."
I nod and leave, shutting the door behind me. Jace is working on a customer and a woman is standing at the counter.
"Hi, can I help you?"
"Yeah, can you tell me when the next available spot is open?"
I flip through the book, "How about today at noon?"
She nods, "Sounds good, my name is Stephanie."
"Alright, Stephanie, I'll make sure someone is free then, if something comes up, we ask you call an hour in advance is possible."
"No problem," she replies.Unknown POV
