Raven POV

I walk into Black Casket Tattoo, the bell above the door jingles and a man with full tattoo sleeves and face piercings turns to me and smiles.
"Hey, what can I do for you?"
"Is Angelo Parente here?" I ask.
He smirks, "Fan?"
I smirk back, "No, I have something to speak with him about, per Chris' request."
The guy raises an eyebrow before turning to go into the back room where I hear a faint buzzing of the needle. He comes back a minute later and looks uncomfortable.
"Ange will be right out, why don't you have a seat, Miss...?"
"Boudreaux," I reply. "Raven Boudreaux."
"Nice to meet you, Raven, I'm Jace, I'm one of the tattoo artists here."
I nod and Ange comes out of the back room, a young woman is following him, looking totally enamoured with him. Ange nods to Jace who calls her over while he comes over to me.
"Hello, Raven, nice to finally meet you," he says giving me a hug. "Chris hasn't stopped talking about you since he met you."
I blush lightly, "Nice to meet you as well, Angelo. So, I'm guessing you know why I'm here?"
He laughs, "Of course, I would love to take you in as an apprentice, I promise that you'll learn a lot. I just finished my own apprenticeship at the original Black Casket Tattoo shop in Dickson City, Pennsylvania."
I grin, "Thank you so much, Angelo."
"Do you have any tattoos of your own?" He asks me.
I shake my head, "Not yet. I haven't had the time nor the creative spark to think about it fully."
"Well, you'll have plenty of time working here. I guarantee that your first tattoo will be done here."
"Well, why the fuck would I go anywhere else?" I ask him, looking mock outraged.
He chuckles, "True. I would love to talk, but I have another appointment in about an hour, but it was nice to meet you."
"You, too, Angelo." I text Chris to come and get me.
