Yes everyone, this happens in our world, alot. It's utterly disgusting and I'm here to explain what happens in this ordeal and tell you why IT SUCKS!

In most of my rants, I just talk about generalizations of negative situations that involve the topic. But for this one, I have an actual example that really affected me.

Lots of people think that embarrassing their kids is funny. This guy that I'm going to talk about found it hysterical.

I had the pleasure of visiting Six Flags Great Adventure the other day. One of the main reasons I went was because they have Kingda Ka, the tallest fastest roller coaster in the world. Inside of the 458 foot tall coaster, is Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom, which is the world's tallest and fastest drop.

I went on the roller coaster first, because it just needed to be conquered. So then I figured that I might as well go onto The Drop of Doom also because they were right next to each other.

Here's where I was repulsed. I was next to go on the ride, so I was standing right in front of the seats. As it was ascending upwards, there was a small blond boy with sunglasses who looked about six or seven in one of the seats with an expression of pure apathy.

I was already apprehensive as I saw him going up. Is he going to be okay? He must be really scared. Maybe he doesn't care.

The duration of the ride is around a minute, so in no time, the kid was back on the ground. But of course there were a few things different about him.

For starters, his formerly neat hair now seemed to be springing upward from his scalp. Also, his expression of apathy was gone.

He was now crying hysterically. He could barely get out of his seat after the restraints were taken off of him because he was shaking so badly.

"Get up!" A tall, bulky man with the same colored hair as the boy said.

This must've been his father, because I don't think some random guy would take a seven year old on this. And if it was a random guy, wtf.

So then the kid left his chair and took his dad's hand. And in this situation, the boy isn't the only one who's hysterical, his father is too.

He was laughing his ass off.

"Aww it wasn't that bad!" He says demeaningly, still laughing.

The kid starts crying harder and then they walked away.

Seeing this just affected me so much and I feel so bad for the kid. Why is this funny? I personally had a great time on the ride, but I know that the seven year old me would not enjoy the ride whatsoever.

Of course the kid was scared and upset! The Drop of Doom is 415 feet high and goes 90 mph.

Please stop causing your children to have emotional breakdowns in public for your own comedic value. It's sick and I really don't feel like telling you how to behave.
