Tenebris Angelus

Everything is silent as I turn around and look at her's and Evermore's faces filled with sorrow. Christopher's on the other hand... he laughed. "Well that was the last time you ladies have seen him. I on the other hand, have bumped into him a few times in the last 3 centuries. More like he bumped into me. Quite literally. He actually shoved me a few times when I spotted him" he says. Evermore and Evangeline stare at him, neither of them saying a word for a second until Evermore speaks up. "DID IT NEVER OCCUR TO YOU TO TELL US ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU VISIT!!" She yells as she steps towards him but Evangeline grabs her arm to calm her down. "Boy... I swear, I would back hand you so hard right now. But I'm not gonna because I love you... and because I don't want to hurt my  hand" Evangeline says. I cough to grab their attention and it worked as they all look over at me. "Uhm... If you don't mind me asking ,Evangeline, but how did he put it there exactly" I ask confused and curious. She sighs "He had always been one to follow rules. I never would have thought that he would be the one to do it. Christopher on the other hand' she pauses 'I could see him doing it" Christopher gasps  but Evangeline ignores him. "You see Jake was always the calm one. Always following directions. He was kind and understanding towards everyone and everything. This was not where I had seen his fate go" she stops and then Christopher speaks with a sharp face "It was a mask. All of it was a lie. He hurt them' he motioned to the ladies 'He was my friend. He was my brother. My family. And he betrayed me. Betrayed us. Because of you. You came along and he changed. " I interrupted him before he could say anything else. "That's not possible. He said that yours and his friendship was ruined centuries ago. I wasn't even alive yet. I'm only 17. How am I the cause for the destruction of him when I wasn't even alive yet?" I say in confusion. Evermore walks up to me "As you know now, there are more dark creatures than humans know. Where do you think the idea that red glowing eyes and sharp pointy teeth are scary came from? The lore on vampires, angels, werewolves, witches and immortals? It came from our world. The shadow world. Humans don't really see us, but some do get a glimpse of  us. They are the ones no one believes so they get scared and become consumed by insanity." she says. "But that doesn't explain how I'm the cause of that " I say pointing to the crystal in the wall. Evermore smiles softly "You didn't let me finish Elizabeth. Like everyone, we have the one in charge. But she... or he hasn't showed up in centuries, or so we thought. Tenebris Angelus which is latin for Dark angel. Similar to Nigra Angelus which is latin for black angel. Christopher is a black angel. Jake used to be but since he went dark he became a Nigra Daemon which translates to black demon. You have been showing similarities to black angels' she pauses 'and immortals... and witches... and pretty much every other good creature from the shadow world" she stops. I pull away from her hand "Okay and what is that supposed to mean?" I ask. This time it was Christopher who talked "Only one creature is like you Elizabeth. You are the Tenebris Angelus. You are the only one that can save us from the darkness" he tells me right before it goes dark.

I know its kind of short but writers block has hit me hard tonight. I'll post more soon. Till the next chapter my readers...
