It's late November and it's already snowing. Great! just what I need... cold. I woke up around 5 in the morning and couldn't get back to sleep. So I went to the window and saw it was snowing. I got dressed and left a note telling my mom that I was going for a walk and for her to call me when she wakes up. I walk outside and look at the smooth layer of new snow, sparkling like stars in the night sky. I take the first step in the snow and can't help but smile at the sound of the snow crunching under my warm boots. I walk down the sidewalk... or at least what I think is the sidewalk.... then I text Shelby and Abe.
ME: hey... you guys awake?
A: yeah the cold woke me -_-
S: same here :P
ME: well meet me at the park when you can :) bye
S&A: okay bye
I get to the park about 2 minutes later and wait for Abe and Shelby. About 3 minutes later Abe shows up with Shelby and 3 steaming starbucks in his hands. He gives one to Shelby and one to me. "OH! YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!! I LOVE you" I say whispering the last word. "I know I'm the best gayfriend you have... and the only one too." he smiles while we head to a small table under a canopy in the park. "You know me too well. I mean I LOVE eggnog lattes!" I yell with glee. "I know" he smiles. "So it's 5:12 in the morning... what do you want to do?" Shelby asks. "More like what 'can' we do." I question. An hour later we're walking down the sidewalk with another starbucks in silence just listening to the snow crunching and watching our breath disappear.
It's about 6:20 and we start going back home saying our 'goodbyes' and 'see you laters'. I start to head home, taking a shortcut through a creepy alleyway. I think I hear something but ignore it anyways. I hear it again, like thoughts of someone close to me. I turn around and a tall hooded stranger is following me. "Can I help you?" I ask the strange man. "yes, you sure can sweetheart" he says with a scary smile forming on his face. His thoughts... oh god his thoughts are horrible. I need to get away from him but.... there"s not many places I can go. He starts coming towards me and I turn around and start running as fast as I can through the alley but the alleyway is long... very long. The next thing I know I feel someone grab my arm and in a flash I'm on the ground with the stranger on top of me. "Please, please just me go and I won't tell anyone about this" I plead knowing it most likely won't do anything. "Oh you would love it for me to do that... but I can't . Sorry" He smiles a horrible smile. I struggle to get out from under him but his weight holds me down to the ground. He starts laughing.... "You're coming with me sweetheart" he says and the last thing I see are his life-less eyes.
