The Date

I'm really nervous at this point and I keep thinking *I can turn back right now and never have to do this again. To late. He saw me.* I walk into the cafe and sat down across from him in the booth. "Hey, I thought you weren't going to come" Jake says. "I wouldn't do that" I said. "Good... You look gorgeous" he says with his eyes wide open. "Thanks Jake." I say while looking at my lap while blushing. No guy outside of family has ever complimented me like that. We sit in the booth with some coffee and talk. After about thirty minutes I spot someone I notice outside. It's Adrielle and she's looking at us. She soon walks away when she notices that I'm ignoring her. We talk about where he came from and his family. He actually doesn't have a family.

Soon after an hour of us talking he asks if I wanted to go somewhere else. "Sure" I say. We head outside and go over to his motorcycle. "Uhhh..." I say nervously. "What is it?" he asks. "I've never rode on a motorcycle" I say shyly. "It's ok. Just sit behind me, hang on, and don't let go." he says bravely. "Okay" I reply. He hops on and I hop on behind him and wrap my arms around his chest. I smile at how warm he is and at how close we are. "You ready?" he asks with a smile on his face. "As I'll ever be" I answer as confident as I can. He turns on the bike and roars off into the night. I liked the speed but was slightly scared. Soon we arrive to a small park and hop off the bike. "Here we are" he says while helping me off the bike.

We go over to a little bench and sit down. I sit there and then say "A tiny question...Is this a date?" "Only if you want it to be" he says. "Ya this is so a date" I say while smiling. He then looks down and grabs my hand and my response is the same. He looks up at me and smile. For around ten minutes we sit there holding hands and looking at stars. At first I was pretty nervous because this is my first date but now I'm relaxed. Soon Jake looks over at me and I look at him to. We stair into each others eyes. I now know what it feels like to fall in love with someone. He releases my hand, grabs my chin, and kisses me. Before I could understand what was happening I press my lips on his. After about five seconds he pulls away and I slowly open my eyes. I sit there in silence. "I'm sorry" he says sadly, "I didn't mean to do that I was just... I don't know." I smile. "It's okay, there's nothing to be sorry about. I liked it." He smiles and grabs my hand. We then sit there for what seems like an eternity. I then get a text from my mom "Get home now. It's an emergency! :(" I tell Jake that I have to get home quick and that it's an emergency. We then get on his bike and ride to my house.
