I've been driving for a few hours. I really don't know where I'm going. I don't know what to do. I need answers... And I know exactly who to get them from I just need to find him. Christopher, Exorior. I think. I didn't know what the word meant but the next thing I know Christopher is sitting in my passenger seat smiling to himself. I swerve the car but gain control quickly. "Looks like you're more powerful than I thought" he says. "Wait. What? I'm confused. How did you get in here?" I ask. "You wanted me here. You needed me to appear" he pauses "So I came to you" I pull to the side of the rode and glare at him. "Uhmm... okay. Well since you're here, I have questions" I say. "And I have answers. But we need to go get food. I am starving" he replies and snaps his fingers, making us and the car appear in the parking lot of a small country Bar-B-Q steak house. Fair-child's Bar-B-Q Steak House "When you have a rumbly in you tummy that only food could satisfy" a sign said.

We walked inside and the moment I stepped through that door... I realized how hungry I was. "Evermore!" Christopher yelled suddenly, making me jump 2 feet back. A girl with a yellow crystal on a white string around her neck approaches us. Wait. Evermore? Fair-child? She's the daughter of the witch that helped Christopher and Jake!! "Yes I am" she says softly. "Wha-" I try to ask how she knew what I was thinking but she stopped me mid word "Every witch has a certain ability. Mine... well one of mine is mind reading. Although I don't see how that comes as a shock to you with all you've been through" I open my mouth but shrug understanding what she meant. "So Evermore... can we get some food or no?" Christopher pipes in. "Sure" she smiles.

Christopher and I sit at the bar and eat our food. He ordered a cheeseburger with everything on it and I ordered Bar-B-Q wings. Yum! These are the best wings I ever had! Evermore leans over the bar "Thanks. They're my favorite dish to eat and make" she whispers. I smile as I continue to eat my food.

Soon closing time is upon us. Evermore locks the doors "Follow me" she says as we go back to the kitchen. "Hey Evermore" a guy, no older than us says. He must work here. I think. "Elizabeth, this is Keith. He's one of the cooks here" Evermore says. Keith looks Evermore and I up and down and bites his lip "Elizabeth huh? Cute name. Are you from around here?" He asks me. Christopher places his hand on my back "No. She's not he says sternly. Keith looks at Christopher with a nasty look. "I could show you around town. Ya know' he bites his lip again 'alone" I do NOT like this guy. "Uhm no thank you" I say. "Your loss... Bitch" he whispers. Christopher steps towards him but I grab his arm. He looks back at me and I shake my head. Don't. He backs up so he's beside me once more. "I'll lock up. You go home" Evermore tells Keith. He leans against the stove. His hand centimeters from the spot where the gas comes from the stove top. "And what if I don't want to go home?" He asks with an attitude. "Go home Keith" Evermore says again but Keith doesn't budge. "I want to know more about Elizabeth... and you can't make me leave" he says. "Accendant" I whisper as I concentrate on the stove top. Within seconds the stove top catches fire, startling everyone but myself. Scaring Keith more though. Keith jumps back and trips. "Leave. Now" I say sternly. Keith's face is coated with fear as he jumps up and runs out the door. I turn around and Christopher and Evermore jump back. Christopher looks at me in confusion while Evermore looks at me in amazement. "You have strong powers Elizabeth" a strange woman with a pink and green crystal, beaded necklace similar to Evermore's had snuck up behind us. "You have the goddess, Hephaestus burning in your soul" she said. Hephaestus is the Greek God of fire. I heard Christopher say by telepathy. "My name is Evangeline Fair-Child. Evermore here is my daughter" she says with a soft British accent. "Hello ma'am. It's nice to meet you" I reply politely with a small nod of my head in reconciliation. Evangeline smiles and looks over at her daughter "Why can't you act more like her? She has manners and respect towards adults" she asks but Evermore just rolls her eyes. "Follow me" Evangeline commands as she turns around. Christopher, Evermore, and I follow her to a set of stairs in the back that leads to a basement. There is a doorway or stringed beads in many different shapes, colors, and sizes. One by one they walked through as I cautiously stand back wondering what's on the other side.

I walk through the beads and into a room full of colors and crystals. Jars of different substances like flowers, plants, gems, and different colored powders inside. "What is this?" I ask out loud curious of what I walked into. "This is a private room. No one can see the entrance unless Mother allows them to. If someone unwanted sneaks back here, all they find is a freezer room full of meat with a lock" As Evermore explains, I glance over and see a smiling Christopher and grinning Evangeline. I smile and see crystals of different colors floating in the air. "Pardon me for asking but, what's with those crystals' I point to the ones floating' and the ones you two have?" I say pointing to the ones on their neck. Evangeline looks at me "These are Tourmalines. They can help an immortals soul, heart, mind, and body' she pauses for a second and the lights dim a little 'or they can make an immortal grow dark, evil, and cruel" she takes a deep breath and the lights become brighter like before. "Every immortal has... Well should have a Tourmaline. Those who don't seek out powerful immortals like my Mother and she finds the right one for them' Evermore says 'Christopher has one as well" I look over at him as he pulls out a brown Tourmaline on a chain that was hiding under his shirt. "I wish I could get one. They're so beautiful" I say. "You are. That's why I brought you down here" Evangeline tells me.

"Wait... What?! Why am I getting one?! I'm not... I can't be... Am I immortal?" I say quickly and confused. "Yes. You are immortal. You are unique. Different. I've never sensed a stronger pure immortal before... Well other than Christopher, but you're different" she says.

Evangeline had gone through a process of throwing different powders in the air and around me as I sat on a cushion on the floor. After chanting a few things and throwing more stuff, making me sneeze, everything fell dark and quiet until one single gem started to glow and float towards me. I hadn't seen any of the gems being black so I was curious with this one. It floated towards my neck and I saw a bright light. I felt a warmth in me and a sense of protection in and around me. I open my eyes and I'm laying on the floor. I reach for my neck and the gem is there, hanging from a red laced choker necklace. I then notice. Everyone is staring at me with shock but it soon disappears as I ask something.

"What about Jake? Does he have one?" I ask with a small grin forming on my face but it quickly disappears as the room grows still and silent. I'm confused as I look at Evangeline's face full of hurt and disappointment, Evermore's full of hate and anger, then Christopher's. His face full of betrayal and sadness, but not like any sadness. A sadness that's from loss. "I'm sorry but... did I say something wrong?" I ask a little worried. "Jake did have one but it's not with him anymore" Evangeline says in a whisper, looking over at one wall. But in the middle of the wall is something embedded in it. I walk towards it and look at it more. It's a blue Tourmaline... But it's broken and stuck on the wall. The wall around it has blackened and cracked. "The day that crystal was put there was the last day we saw Jake" Evermore says.
