We get home and I run inside. "MOM! What is it?" I say as I run up to her. I turn her around and notice she's crying and her emotions are going crazy. I can't read her thoughts. Trying just makes me dizzy. "Your dad has gotten into a car accident. He has gotten hurt really bad." she says with tears rolling down her face. "Where is he?" I say. "Heading to the hospital in a helicopter." she answers. "Why is he in a helicopter!?" I say loudly. "It was in the woods. They told me he said that something big with big, black wings flew in front of him. He swerved and ran into a tree and got ejected five feet from the car. He was on the phone with his boss so his boss called 911." my mom says. It was hard for her not to choke. It then starts to pour down rain outside. "Get into the car. We're going to the hospital" I say. "What about your date sweety?" she asks. "He will follow behind us." I say while grabbing the keys.
We arrive at the hospital and ask the front desk where Mike was. "He just arrived and is in surgery." the lady at the desk says. "It will take a while so you should probably sit down in the waiting room." she says while pointing over to the empty room with a couple couches and three vending machines. "Come on mom it will be okay. He'll make it." I say while sitting down beside my mom. "Where's you date?" my mom asks and that's when I notice that he wasn't with us. "I don't know" I say. I wait ten minutes thinking that he probably just went to go get something. I wait another thirty minutes then I call him. No answer. I wait another thirty minutes and call again but still no answer. I stop worrying and just start talking to my mom to comfort her. After another hour my mom passes out on the couch so I go and ask for a blanket and cover my mom up. I go and get some food from the vending machine. I sit there for another two hours and I look at my phone. No missed calls, no texts, and its 2 a.m. Gosh how bad can this gets. Soon I see a doctor come down the hallway and his thoughts aren't good.
