"WHAT?!" I shrieked, covering my mouth as I screamed. Luckily, people were too busy gossiping to have heard me shriek.

"Yep. You heard right, you're on the cover of Teen Vogue Magazine! How cool is that?!" Nina exclaimed, jumping like a little girl in a huge candy store. I stood there, my jaw hanging open.

"You are so lucky! Now all the boy's are gonna fan over youuuu!" Laura sang. I closed my mouth and glared at her before walking towards the entrance of the school.

"Melissa!"

"Meliiiii!"

"OMG hi! Wanna be friends?!"

"Melissa! Go out with me!"

"Melissa! Over here!" Nearly everyone started screaming my name, girls wanting to be my friend and boys wanting to be my boyfriend. I flashed them a smile before heading to my locker to get my books.

"Hey sexy," Levi smirked, leaning on the locker beside me.

"Hey ugly." I retorted, slamming my locker door shut.

"So.. Teen Vogue huh? Cool. Wi-"

"Hey Melissa. Will you go out on a date with me?" A boy from the basketball team asked. It's funny how most of the people here didn't know my name at one point, now nearly the whole world knew. Before I could comprehend what was happening, Levi's fist landed on the poor boy's jaw.

"What was that for you jerk?!" He screamed, holding his jaw with a pained expression written over his face.

"Hey Melissa! Should I call you Lissa? Hey, do you think pink lip gloss looks better or red lip gloss? You have to sit with me today!" A girl cried, waving at me. I groaned and turned to her.

"Yeah, sure, I'll try.." I muttered, turning back to Levi. The boy had already disappeared, and Levi was about to say something when Kayla came over.

"Hey! I didn't know you'd be on the magazine. Do you wanna try out for the cheerleading team? Our team would love you! The c- Oh hey Levi! I didn't notice you there.." She smiled, twirling her hair around her finger.

What the hell is she doing?!

After the incident, the bell rang so I didn't have much time to figure out what was with her. Was she trying to steal another one of my kinda boyfriends?

"What's got you thinking so hard?" Laura asked, her mouth full of fries. I shook my head at her and laughed, her talking with fries in her mouth made her sound like wash catten chu finging so harf?

"Hey pretty girl. I thought you were gonna sit with the other girls." Levi stated, pulling the chair out next to me and sitting down. Throughout the day, loads of girls had asked me to be their friends, and I politely declined them.

"Nope. Couldn't be bothered. So, what's up?" I asked, biting the hamburger in my hand.

"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanna go out with me tonight?" He asked shyly, smiling cheekily. I giggled before nodding excitedly.

"Great. See you outside your house at 7pm sharp."

"Yeah yeah, okay."

"Yeah yeah, okay." He mimicked me in a high pitched girls voice. I smacked his arm before continuing to eat my lunch.

I couldn't wait for tonight. I just had a feeling it was going to be good.

"All done!" Laura cried, clapping her hands together and pulling the blindfold off my face. I glared at her before heading to the mirror. I gasped when my eyes met the mirror.

I was looking drop dead gorgeous.

My hair was in tousled brown locks, my makeup was smokey eye and lip gloss and in my hand was a pink purse with a gold lock in the centre. My dress was simple yet beautiful. The top part from the bust up was black and underneath was baby blue. The dress ended above my knees, and was held up by spaghetti straps. There was a gold ribbon under the bust, and the part underneath the bust was slightly wrinkled to make it look prettier. I had faded black stockings on, and black pumps on my feet.

"Holy shiz. This is so pretty!" I grinned, twirling around in the mirror. Laura grinned at me while Nina gave me a thumbs up. I thanked them before running downstairs. The clock read 6:59pm, one minute before it was time for our date to begin.

"Good luck Meli!" Nina smiled, hugging me.

"Oh, don't forget to wear a c-" Lau started.

"Shush!" I cried, covering my ears. She smirked just as the doorbell rang.

"I'll go get it. See you tomorrow," I smiled, running off to the door. Levi was standing there with a bunch of roses in his arm, his smile making me grin. He handed me the roses and lead me to his car, grinning as he did so. I giggled before getting in.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere."

"Are you serious?" I groaned. He smirked at me and continued to drive.

After a while, he pulled to a stop outside the forest.

"Don't think about me killing you cuz you know I wouldn't." He muttered, getting out of the car. I laughed to myself and got out of the car.

"Close your eyes." He demanded. I shook my head stubbornly and he glared at me. I pouted before closing my eyes. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to a place I didn't know yet.

"Open your eyes!" He declared, letting go of my hand. Slowly, I opened my  eyes.

The place was beyond amazing. Any word couldn't describe the place I saw with my very own eyes.

"Like it?" He asked nervously, scratching the base of his neck. I nodded happily, throwing my arms around him. The place he took me to was a midnight picnic, with the view of the sky and a wide lake. The stars were twinkling, and the lake was shimmering like there was no tomorrow.

"Let's eat," He beamed, dragging me to the picnic blanket. I smiled at him and sat down.

"I've been meaning to ask you something....." He trailed on, only getting me even curiouser.

"What?" I asked.

"Melissa Parkers, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! I'd love to."
