"How are you feeling?"

Pete sighed, glancing at me with wide eyes. I knew he felt like complete and utter shit, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

"I'm okay." He lied.

"I know what happened with you parents was rough, and it was completely unfair, but you have me." I promised, shifting myself into his lap.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. I'm acting like a child."

I pressed my finger to his lips, quickly replacing it with my mouth a few seconds later. We kissed for a minute before we pulled away, feeling a little better than we did before we kissed.

"You are not acting like a child. If it were me, I would be like, sobbing."

He nodded, wrapping his arms around me tightly and kissing me again. When he pulled away, his lips were slightly red. It made me laugh.

"I swear, I could kiss you forever."

I smiled. "As much as I'd like that to happen, you've got a meeting with your publisher today."

He groaned, tossing his head back. "Fuck, I totally forgot about that."

I laughed quietly, kissing down his jaw. "A lot happened last night, who could blame you? But hey, look on the bright side, what if she wants you to continue your book?"

Pete rolled his eyes. He started writing a book like two months ago, and so far what he had was absolutely amazing. He was going to meet with his publisher today to work on what he had so far.

"Oh stop. You know it awesome." I said, climbing off of him and walking into his closet pick him out an outfit.

"I can dress myself, ya know!" He called, but I just laughed. Pete could most definitely not dress himself. I scanned over his clothes before I settled on a white button up with a pair of jeans. When I walked back into the room, he was sprawled out across the bed, looking like he might pass out any second.

"Wake up!" I called, slapping him with shirt I picked out. He sat up, rubbing his eyes and glaring at me.

"You'll regret that." He promised, taking the clothes from my hands and stripping off the clothes he had on. I blushed.

"Why do you think it's okay to just change in front of me?" I asked, placing my hands hips as I watched him.

He smirked, tugging on his jeans. "Because I love you, you love me, and you love my body."

I blushed from embarrassment. After all, he was quite right. A few seconds later, when had his jeans on, he walked over to me. He took my face in his hands and kissed me soundly. "And I love your body, but you won't let me see it."

I rolled my eyes. "How do you know you love my body if you haven't even seen it?"

He rolled his eyes, moving away to slip the shirt on, calling me over to button it up for him.

"Because it's your body, and I love everything about you."

I blushed again for what seemed like the millionth time as I buttoned up his shirt, finishing the top button and planting a kiss directly on his lips.

"Maybe someday in the future. When I'm more comfortable with myself."

His lips twitched up into a smile, kissing me again. We kissed a fucking lot.

"Okay. Okay. What time is it?" He asked, changing the subject. I reached over the bed and grabbed my phone, switching it on.

"It's 10am." I said, shutting my phone back off and dropping it back into bed, losing sight of it in the sheets.

"I've got to be there at 1. You wanna go get breakfast or lunch or something?" He asked as he slipped on my shoes.

"Yeah, sure." I replied, fishing back through his closet to find some clothes I left here. I had been spending a lot of time there, so it was no surprise that I had a lot of fucking clothes in his closet. He didn't seem to mind.

"Just let me change." I mumbled, returning into the bedroom to see him on the bed, his legs crossed. We didn't say anything else as I walked into the bathroom and changed.

When I walked out, he had my phone up, and looked like he was... talking selfies?

"Pete? What are you doing?" I asked as he stuck his tongue out, taking another picture.

"Come take pictures with me." He said, moving over so I could sit beside him.

"I look bad right now." I whined, but he just shook his head and pulled me over. I plopped down beside him, meeting both of our reflections in the camera.

The first picture we took was a normal one of us smiling. It was actually a really good picture, so I'd have to get printed sometime. The next picture was something Pete called the "duck face" but really, it just looked like we were making kissy faces. The third was another one of my favorites. My eyes were closed, and Pete was kissing my cheek. Then the fourth one it was pretty much the same, except his eyes were closed and my lips were on his cheek. And then finally, the last one we kissed, and yeah, that one was most definitely my absolute favorite.

He tossed me my phone with a huge grin on his face. "Let's ride Clyde."

A somewhat loud bell rang as we walked through the front doors of a small diner, Pete's hand on my back. He kept his hand there a lot.

"May I help you?" A woman asked, her curls bouncing every time she moved her head. I was obsessed with curls.

"Yeah, can we just get something to go?" Pete asked, glancing around nervously. My head snapped towards him. To go? I could've sworn we were going to sit down and eat, but okay..

"Yes sir. What can I get you?"

"I want the bacon and eggs meal, and get him the same."

I frowned when he ordered for me, confused at the entire situation. I didn't mention it though as we waited for our food to cook. I waited until we were sat in the car with our food. I didn't want to make a scene or whatever.

"What was all that about? Why didn't we eat in? And how come you ordered for me?" I asked all in one breath.

"My parents were in there. And sorry, if you ordered you would've gotten like barely anything, so." He said, stabbing a piece of egg with his fork and shoving into his mouth. I turned to the small diner, eyes searching for any sign of his parents.
