Dudley Dursley laid wrapped up in a holey blanket staring at the dark ceiling of the closet under the stairs. He was thinking at once this was his cousin's place—or what he was led to believe. Yes, his cousin stayed there, but she never deserved staying there. She should've gotten his spoiled selves' other room, not this.

Dudley had been reborn and now took the room that would belong to his cousin. Dudley knew he had magic and knew it had been blocked until his cousin had been of age. He knew he had strong magic as it had been explained to him. Once his own magic had killed him, he met Death who explained everything—including what Morgana went through at her school. It made him angry his little cousin had gone through that and that he only made it worse at home. It made him angry that his parents taught him to be like that. It made him angry his parents agreed to have his magic blocked so he would be "normal".

He had asked Death to give him time to see from his cousin's point of view of how she spent her first year so he could have a better understanding of what she had experienced—and he did just that. Petunia and Vernon were lovely parents until he made a toy float to him—and bam! He's thrown into the closet under the stairs and they pretended their son had died to the neighbors to keep up their image of being perfect.

Dudley had wondered if he would ever be rescued. He knew of the relationship between Death and Morgana and even who Morgana's soul mate was, but he didn't know what would happen to him.

Dudley also knew what Family Magic he had. He was of Grindelwald's blood. Immediately when he was told, he requested if the Lordship goes to him that he wanted it to go to go to Morgana which gained a smile of approval from Death.

Now, Dudley was just waiting. He was waiting partially impatiently, but trying his best to keep his magic from acting out. Call it a bit of trauma from how he died, he just didn't want to have his magic act out that bad without his control. He knew of others that would gain back memories so he had other people to talk to about it and knew from Death that they would experience a similar fear like how he did.

Dudley knew both Morgana and her father James feared the color of the Killing Curse which he was told closely resembled Morgana's eye color. He knew her godfather, Sirius Black, would be cold a lot because of this Veil he was told about. He knew George Weasley was a twin Morgana was close to and would be clinging to his twin brother who had died in the war. Lastly, Dudley would fear not being in control.

Now Dudley just sat in silence, watching as two spiders fought over territory in the small closet until he heard his mother yelling, "That blasted sister of mine got herself blown up!" best news Dudley has ever heard, "And her husband is still alive and that brat of there's!" even more great news.

Now he just to wait a little longer...

(Two weeks passed)

Dudley was practicing his walking in his closet. He was small enough he could practice in there. He didn't know if he was too young to be practicing it, but dammit he was practicing in case he had to run.

Then there was a knock.

And his mom screaming.

And his dad grunting as he fell to the floor as a red light pierced through the door frame.

"Morgana said he would be in the closet blended to the stairs," a voice said. Dudley perked up, his cousin was getting him out!?

Dudley hurriedly banged on the door. "Dudley?" a voice called.

"Yeah?" he called back.

"It's James, Morgana's Dad. We're getting you out. Alohamora!" the man called the door was then unlocked and Dudley was faced with a dark haired man with curly hair and glasses that was positioned like he didn't really need them. Behind him were a pale man with dark curly hair and a leather jacket, and a teenage boy with brown curly hair that seemed to be torturing his parents while the pale man suddenly seemed like he wanted to join, but Dudley wanted protection right now.

"Sirius," James spoke, seeing the connection between the boy and his best friend, "Take Dudley and take him back to Marlene and Remus. We have some business here."

The man, Sirius, took Dudley into his arms and walked out of the house. Dudley noticed numerous other witches and wizards keeping the muggles occupied to not notice what was going on with the Dursleys.

"James claimed another child was on his daughter's inheritance test and kept an eye out in case you were in trouble. We all know you remember and we all know how you died. It's okay to relax now," Sirius said calmly to the child.

Dudley then settled down in Sirius' arms and relaxed with his head resting on Sirius' shoulder never once looking back at Privet Drive.
