". . .please, don't do this. You'll only hurt yourself. . ."
"Mother. . .?"
"Dear, (y/n), you shouldn't keep hurting yourself. I just want to let you know. . ."
"Mother-" your voice became weak and cracked.
". . .know that I'll always be watching over you. . . Just be happy and-and-" she broke into tears, unable to hold them back. You hugged her, feeling her warmth. . .for one last time.
"-don't worry. I love you, daughter." She vaporized, leaving you in tears. Everything around you was blurry, you rubbed your eyes, wiping the tears away. Every one stared in awe and misery.
"It's all going to be fine in the end." Percy comforted you.
"What happened. . .?" Many people asked each other but got no answer. Not even Chiron or Mr.D knew.
"(Y/n)-" you interrupted him and hugged him, "(Y/n), I know how you feel."
"All she wants is just for me to be happy."
"That's all I want, too."
You only hugged him tighter.
