Those Lips

Rachel's POV

"What happened, Sis?" Caden asked.

"It's mom and dad."

"What happened?" He said. Getting alarmed.

"They... He... I.." And then I started crying.

"Rachel, it's okay. Get in. Claire. Move to the back." He says as he ushered the girl into the backseat.

"Why is Claire with you?" I asked in-between sobs.

"It doesn't matter. Just get in, please." He says kindly.

"Okay." I said as I hopped into the car.

We drove for a few hours and then he parked the car in the middle of nowhere. It was warm and the sky was turning pink. There was grass and wildflowers. The grass was green and the flowers were the spots on the dalmation. This was our getaway place when he still lived at home. Claire stayed in the car. I looked at him. Half angry because he left and hair relieved that he took me here. I glared at him, but it was a confused glare. He looked up at me as he set a blanket out on the grass and gestured fur me to sit down. I did.

"So... What happened with mom and dad."

"Well, when I got home... Dad had been drinking and he was screaming at mom and the baby was crying, so I sent upstairs to go help the baby, but she wouldn't stop crying and dad got mad and threw me up against the wall." I lifted up my shirt and showed him my back, which was already starting to bruise, and then I continued. "He left and went into mom's bedroom. They were down in there, and I heard a glad break so I went to go check what happened. I looked into the room and mom was tied to the bed and he was slicing her wrist, so I called you and I got out of there."

"You left the baby?!"

"I had to. I couldn't take her."

"I can't believe you! You are a terrible mother!"

Omg! Rachel is a mom?!?! Waaa! Were you expecting that?! No? Well it just happened! Omg! I hope you liked this chapter. Love you guys. Sorry it took so long. I've been... Busy. I'll probably pay another chapter tonight, anyways.
