One day, two years and five months ago, I was on Whisper. It had become a daily thing for me. I had admitted to being violently sexually abused on many occasion. I didn't expect so many people to blame me for it. I also didn't expect to get a message from Cody. His username was _SuperCody_. I thought it was cute. He said he was sorry that people were so cruel. That even after something so horrible like that happened people are still so cruel to you. So we started to talk. We worked through a lot of things together. His parents divorce ate him alive. His ex cheated on him. My abuse continued. Finally, after five months, we met in person. I remember that first day in the coffee house. He walked in and I saw his beautiful blue eyes and his light brown hair. The kind caring nature of his walk. I fell in love with him right then and there.
My thoughts were interrupted by a scream followed by cries. Something I'd heard so many times before. The sound of a nightmare so bad you cry before your even out of it. The kind that pulls you from reality so far that you're back to reality. It feels real and as if it just happened. The kind of nightmares people like me have. Memories. Past traumatic experiences.
