I picked Lizzy up at the tree and called Kaia, but she didn't pick up, so I took me and Lizzy to a motel not too far from home but far enough she wouldn't look.
"Brandon, what are we gonna do?.."
"Well, I think that as soon as I get ahold of Kaia we can go on a trip.."
"What kind of trip?"
"A road trip I think..."
"Cool."
"Yeah... Cool."
Me and Lizzy laid in the motel room, watched tv, and ate junk food for the rest of the night. It took our minds off of our crazy lives just for a night. It was nice.
