-------

Max arrived just a little after lunch. Profanities and insults were thrown at me mainly because apparently I have 'castle' and why am I still working when I could just rot somewhere in the gazillion rooms available in the estate. And that's what I just received from Max.

Apparently my airhead best friend thinks that what I meant by babysitter is bring almost half the grid to our estate. Yep, Max arrived with Lewis, George, Alex, Carlos, and surprisingly, Charles is in tow as well. So the profanities and insults just kept coming until they got tired of gawking at the entirety of the estate.

"Max, I said I need a babysitter. Not the extension of the Formula 1 Paddock." I whined at him frustratingly.

Max shrugs and looked at me nonchalantly, "if you're putting me on babysitting services for the whole week, might as well bring some spares."

I rolled my eyes at him and scoffed at what he just said, "spar—you even brought Charles!"

"Don't worry, I promise I won't let anything slip." Max tries to reassure me while gesturing to zip his mouth shut. "Besides, you're putting me in charge of your castle and your daughter. Don't wanna get unintentionally murdered and buried here because I told Charles about Addie."

"Tell me what about Addie?" A voice suddenly spoke.

We both shot our heads to direction of the hallway where we see Charles walking towards us. I look at Max again and glared at him.

"Uhh..." Max started as I watch him start stressing over what excuse he can come up.

Fuck.

I look at Charles who's already raising an eyebrow, Max and I looked at each other nervously. "Well? Tell me about what?" Charles impatiently asks us again.

"Je moet het hem eindelijk vertellen. [You should finally tell him]" Max spoke in Dutch.

I guess this is it. The perfect timing that I have been waiting for. I am about to leave Addison with Max and the others – Charles most especially. Secrets are bound to come out especially when there's drinking involve; and knowing Max, I know there's going to be drinking one of these nights. I think it's best that Charles finds out from me and not from a drunken Max or anyone for that matter.

I looked at Max then to Charles who's looking at the both of us anxiously, "let's head to the library first." I muttered softly, just enough for both men to hear. Charles nodded and both men follows me down the hallway to our library.

"Hey Sky—" Lando spoke when we walked past him.

I didn't answer him since my mind's starting to go overdrive as how am I going to start telling Charles that Addison is his daughter all this time.

"Not now Lando, look after Addie first, will you?" Max answered instead. I noticed from my peripheral that Lando nodded and Max stayed behind as he whispered something to Lando.
