For the next couple of days, I stayed at the Floyd's residence. Between Keaton's football and his mom working almost all hours, I stayed at their house alone. It was kind of peaceful but I did miss my parents. I missed writing in my diary also. I felt like I haven't "talked" to Tate in forever.
"Keaton? I think I'm ready to go home" I stated while watching him put away his clothes. I never knew boys could be neat.
"Okay. I'll drop you off in a couple minutes?" He turned around
"Sure" I got up and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you for everything"
"It's my pleasure" he pulled me in for a big hug.
After being welcomed by my parents, Keaton left. My mom seemed more calm then I excepted. She was so happy to see me. Even my dad was too. I went straight up to my secret hideaway and wrote to Tate. I caught him up on everything and that took up about 5 pages. I then just laid in the tiny room and looked around. Things were starting to get a little dusty, which meant I needed to clean.. Ugh. I hate cleaning but if it needs to be done then I should do it. I cleaned for a while and then I heard my mom calling my name. I stopped vacuuming and ran downstairs as fast as I could.
"Yeah mom?" I questioned and looked into the living room where my boyfriend was sitting on the couch.
"You're boyfriend is here" she looked at me smiling
"Jeez, it's only been a couple hours and you miss me already?" I walked over to him and we quickly kissed and then hugged.
"Yes, that's why I'm here" he laughed.
"I want to show you something, follow me" I whispered into his ear and then lead him up to my room.
"I've been in here before Ari" he looked around at my room as I closed my door.
"Not my bedroom silly!" I opened my closet. This is it. I'm going to show him my secret hideaway. I've never showed anyone before.
"You're showing me your closet?" He followed behind me and then looked at me weirdly.
"I'm not crazy" I looked at him and then opened the little door. I let him climb in first and then I went in after.
"Wow this is so cool" he looked around.
"I found it a couple weeks ago. You like it?" I asked him
"Yeah! It's great. Am I the only one that knows about it?" He turned to me
"Yup" I crossed my arms and smiled at him being so excited.
"Cool" he walked over to me and kissed me on the cheek.
"What was that for?" I asked playfully putting my arms around him. Wanting more.
"It was for nothing" he leaned in closer and we began to make out. But of course, my mothers voice over ruled our make out session.
"Ugh, I'll be right back. My mom is calling my name" I started to crouch down so I could fit through the little door.
"How did you hear her voice?" He asked
"I'm used to it" I lastly peaked into the little room and went downstairs again. "Yes mother" I saw her in the kitchen.
"Now what do you guys want for dinner?" She asked. That was her question?
"We don't care. Anything mom" I honestly said, while dying to get back to my boyfriend.
"Okay I'll make pasta" she began taking out the ingredients.
"That's fine Ma" I walked back upstairs and into my room, closing the door behind me. As I opened my little door I right away saw Keaton holding something. It looked like a book.. and then I realized that I left my journal in there...
