Chapter 10

*Keaton's POV*

I find many people attractive. But Ari, she's more than attractive. She has the whole package. She's smart, has an amazing personality, she's beautiful and I enjoy her company. She's also very different from other girls. Usually girls throw themselves at me but her, she didn't even want to look at me at first. And that just drives me crazy and makes me want to be with her even more. I've seriously never felt this way about any girl before. I don't know what else to do then be charming. I really wanted to kiss her at the party and when we hung out yesterday. But she didn't seem to budge. Maybe she's playing hard to get or maybe she doesn't even like me but I'm going to keep trying until she is mine.

"Hey Floyd, how was that party with Ari?" Will asked me as we met in the school parking lot.

"It was really good" I said smiling while thinking of her.

"Dude, what is with you? You barley even hung out with us at that party"

"I was just getting to know her Will, jeez. It's not like I ditched you guys for good. It was one night" I started to get annoyed.

"Yeah I know man. Sorry just drop it" Will shook his head.

That was really weird..

We both walked to where our normal group hung out in the morning, my locker. Jessica ran up to me right away.

"So you and that new girl are dating? What a waste of popularity" She crossed her arms

"What do you mean?" I asked wanting her to elaborate.

"Well if you date a nobody, you become a nobody"

"We aren't even dating" I said, to make things clear.

"You better not be. Just telling you that our whole group was talking and we don't want you associating with her. Just stay away okay?"

"What the fuck Jessica. Are you fucking serious or is this one of your plans to get back together with me?" I started raising my voice and I was getting heated.

"No, we're serious. Drop her, or you're out"

I didn't want to deal with her bullshit so I just walked away from my so called friends and went to see Ari. I actually didn't know where her locker was so I just walked through the halls looking for her. I turned to face the next hallway and there she was, putting her books away. She was wearing really tight jeans and a tie dyed tee-shirt with black converses. Her hair was curly and kind of looked like a mess but it was a very cute mess. I walked over to her and immediately turned my charm on dismissing my heated conversation I had with Jessica.

"Good morning beautiful" I complimented her while leaning on the lockers.

She just smiled and then responded with a "Good morning Mr. Flirty pants"

"Yup, I'm definitely wearing my flirty pants today"

"They look nice on you"

"Oh do they?" I questioned.

"No, I was just trying to be nice" she shot me a smirk.

"Ouch, that got me right in the heart" I put my hands over my chest and made a pouty face. She started laughing and then closed her locker.

"Let's walk" she said.

"I'm down for that" I walked beside her

As we were walking the bell rang signaling all of the students to go to first period.

"I'll see you later" she said already walking away. I grabbed her arm and pulled her in for a hug. She hugged me back even tighter.

"See you later, Walker" I whispered into her ear and then went to first period.
