Chapter 18

*Keaton's POV*

I didn't see Ari all day after the whole janitor's closet incident. I was thinking maybe she was in the principles office? I feel like shit because it was all my idea. I walked into the library for our normal tutoring session and sat down to wait for her. After about a minute which felt like eternity, she entered through the door and walked right over to me.

"I'm sorry babe" I got up and kissed her head while hugging her really tightly.

"It's okay Keaton, I didn't get in that much trouble. I just got a detention but they kept me in the principals office all day just to scare me. They literally told me that" she stated as we both broke away from our hug.

"Oh, well I'm glad it's not a bad punishment. I just feel guilty because it was all me and you took the blame. What did you tell them anyway?" I asked as we both sat down in the chairs.

"No, don't feel guilty. It's okay babe" she put her hand on mine and I smiled feeling her warmth. "I told them that I needed a quiet place to be because I was getting a call and I got scared and freaked out so I accidentally knocked over a bunch of things. And they totally believed it" she laughed to herself

"They probably think your a klutz" I laughed along

"You know sometimes I actually am a klutz but in this case you're the klutz" she bumped her arm on mine

"What do you mean I'm the klutz?" I turned to face her better

"Well, I mean you got pretty excited" she smirked at me

"Let's get to tutoring" I changed the subject and got a couple books from my backpack.

*Ari's POV*

"Okay so here we have the last part of Romeo and Juliet. Will you do the honors and read it to me?" I asked looking at him and knowing that he could do it. He nodded and started reading the ancient Shakespearian play. He was doing so well. I only heard a couple stutters and he wasn't reading too slow either. At this point I wasn't even paying attention to his reading, but was just staring at him and smiling so much. He's so perfect in every way. I actually think I'm falling in love with him.

"Okay I think it's over. I can't believe they both died. That was terrible" Keaton closed the book and leaned back in his chair.

"They died for true love" I opened the book back up and went to the review questions. "So for homework you have to do these five questions and it's a paragraph for each question." I gave him the assignment

"True love?" He questioned

"Yup, that's mostly the whole story" I looked at him looking at me. My heart was beating so fast. We're talking about love here and I know he's feeling the same way I am right now. He smiled at me which made me smile and he leaned in wrapping his fingers around my chin so he could level our lips together. I kept smiling in between kisses because I just felt so happy.

"You're amazing" he softly spoke just like how he did when we were in the closet.

"Keaton, I.." I stopped myself and then kissed him on the cheek to cover it up. Shit I was about to say it!

"You what?" He asked making me look at him

"I have to get going soon" I looked down breaking our eye contact

"Oh, well let me finish these questions and then you can go home mkay?" He changed positions and now we were just sitting next to each other. You could definitely tell there was something awkward in the air. Of course I had to make it awkward. I don't know why I did that I just ruin everything. After helping Keaton finish his homework, we said our goodbyes and I was off to going home and he had to go to practice. I came home to a huge feast.
