As soon as you and michael get to know each other, he'd try his best to teach you whatever he assumes you don't know – how to play video games, how to play guitar, the like. he somehow misses the fact you make covers on youtube, and sits you down for a lesson, anyway. his chest is pressed to your back, close enough for you to smell the cologne he overused. he tries to show you one of his songs. 'so you start the verse with an a-minor, which is like this–' he rests his fingers over yours in the shape of the chord. 'and then–' you're patience cuts short and you completely shred it on the guitar, and he looks down at you when you're done. 'do i get a reward?' you ask. he cups your head and puts his mouth on yours. 'that,' he says, 'is all.'
