You weren't really a fan of frat parties to be honest; they were too loud and nobody actually knew what personal space meant. But there was something about the night that changed your mind. Maybe it was the cool breeze running through the house or maybe it was the boy with the smug smile staring at you from across the room. You don't know if it was his dark eyes and lightly tattooed body that made him stand out or the many strokes of neon paint that lined his face. But the last thing that you expected him to do was move from his spot leaned across the wall over to where you stood on the opposite side, the small tin of glow-in-the-dark paint in his hands. He didn't even need to speak as he unscrewed the lid and offered it forward to you, in which you simply nodded and he took as a sign to lightly dip his index finger into. He brought his hand up to your cheek, his eyes meeting yours briefly before his fingers glided over your cheek. He could feel your eyes on his face, though his gaze remained on his masterpiece. After a few moments, Calum's finger stopped moving, his eyes trained on the hot pink heart that rested on the apple of your cheek. He could tell from the warm smile on your face and the glint in your eyes that you had recognized what he had drawn, too.
