CHAPTER 2

JASON CLARKE

"Sir everyone is waiting for you in conference room." Megan ,my secretary informed me when I was going through some file .

"Okay! I'll be there in a minute " I said dismissing her .

After Megan left I hurriedly picked up some important files and start walking towards the conference room hoping that this time we will be able to get a good idea for expanding our business . Aplex manufacturers is standing today not only because of me but there's a big hand of my whole staff ,they supported me ,gave me ideas and guided me through every situation. It's true no one can be successful alone but with support it is possible and I am very much thankful to my whole team .

"Good morning ! " I greeted everyone while entering the conference room with a big grin on my face .

"Good morning Jason! believe me today I have a very good idea for our company's promotion " Tina exclaimed while putting some papers in front of me ,she is the head of our research department and a very passionate person about her work .

"A fashion industry? "I questioned Tina with eyes wide open .

"Yes ! think about it . Today everyone is doing this and believe me it's gonna work we can use there models to promote our products and in return they will me able to exhibit their fashionable clothes in a different way ." she explained excitedly and I was still confused how that will happen .

"But why any fashion industry will agree to that , I mean to you have any industry on the list ? "

"Yes sir ! we have or you can say we have contacted one of the fashion designer and she has agreed to our offer as she had started her business few years back and she wants to promote it too and she thinks she will be able to do that in a different way ,like everybody promote cars ,bikes but no one promote there parts which make the complete car or a bike " Tom answered who is head of the sales department.

"Actually this will create a double benefit : first our company will be promoted second there business will grow and they have agreed to share 30% profit " Tina further explained giving me few more papers.

"I think it's a good idea at least we can give it a try something is better than nothing .what you guys say ?'' I questioned everyone after a while and they all gestured me a Yes .

I asked Tina to arranged a meeting with that designer so that we can further negotiate and to finalize this deal .

ELENA JOHNSON

I came out of the bath after taking shower ,I was wearing usual uniform which was compulsory for everyone working at Emily's fashion hub . I blow dried my hair and tied my hair in a ponytail like I do everyday .I went to work everyday like this with no make on ,not even a gloss nothing but a ponytail .It's not like it was not allowed at work other girls come with make kits on their faces but I stopped six years ago when dad died in front of my eyes .

Afterwards , everything was changed, mom changed ,Louis changed and I was treated like I don't even exist ,sometimes I felt like they blame me for what ever happened with Dad and he died because of me .They never expressed this by words but their actions were enough to break me everyday .when Dad died I started working firstly as a waitress at a cafe second time as baby sitter and then as a tutor and besides that I completed my fashion designing .

Two Years back I got the Job at Emily's fashion hub as helper to marketing manager but after she left the Job I was promoted to as a marketing manager. Emily ,the owner is passionate about everything related to work and she is hardworking person .She knows how to do her work and how to make her employees to work .There's no doubt she is a very good employer and respectful towards her employees .

"Good morning mom" I greeted mom with a kiss while entering kitchen .

"Your breakfast is ready " she pointed towards breakfast and started walking towards the door .

" Mom I....." I realized mom already left the kitchen.

I got the pay yesterday .I murmured and put the money on the table and left for work .

I just stepped in office and Rose,she is Emily's secretary came in front of me from nowhere and informed me that Emily needs to see me right now." Okay ! I"ll go right away " I said to Rose and started walking towards Emily's office .

"Boss ! You wanted to see me ? " I questioned while entering her office cabin .

"Yes ! Elena come sit ,I wanted to tell you something .As you know am finding different ways to promote this business so that people can know about us, so I think we have got one way to do that " She said and excitement was visible on her face

"Well that's the great news .so what's the plan Boss? " I inquired.

"There's a car parts manufacturing company ' Aplex manufacturers' ,they also want to promote their business so they have offered us a deal and in this deal we will be using some models to promote their car parts ,in starting they have agreed to provide us with funds which we need for production of new clothes .In this way their car parts will be promoted and our clothing too .I know there's no guarantee this idea gonna work but we have to take the risk and business is all about taking risk . "she further explained the whole situation to me.

"I think it's not a bad idea ,it's different but not bad and as a marketing manager I think it will improve our market and there's no harm in giving it a try ." I replied after thinking about the facts Emily told me .

"Ok then I want you to study all the details and also do some digging to make sure that this plan works I really want this to work, make strategies that can make this to increase our market. " she ordered me and handed over the files to me.

"Yes Boss I will do my best "

"Elena we have a meeting with Aplex manufacturers tomorrow " she Informed me when I was about to leave and I just nodded.
