Chapter 15

Two weeks has been gone by since that incident with Louis and the days went by in a blur.The only thing I did was to wake up ,go to work ,come back ,eat alone ,cry and  go to sleep.Thank God Jessica was in town so she would come by and we will hangout a little and she would make me feel a little better.

"Don't worry Elena everythings gonna be fine and things will get better." She would say this to me everytime she was with me.
I must say she is a wonderful friend anyone can wish for and she is very supportive to me for which I am thankful to her.
But lately she was acting a little weird like she will ask me questions about mom and dad.After my answers she will like analysing something I tried to dig out what was going in her mind but she would just say.
"Ahh nothing ! Am trying to know about things when I was not around.Nothing to worry ."

Louis and mom haven't talked to me since that day.Everytime I tried to have conversation the next thing I  know that I was alone,talking to myself.Mom would look at me like I was something disgust and she would have so much hatred in her eyes.I just couldn't understand why? what is that for ? Everything I do is just like I did nothing ...like I wasted on some people who didn't even care.
With every passing day I was breaking deep Inside I was feeling like am gonna breakdown forever any minute but the only thing I was holding on was my promise to dad on his funeral when I promised him that I will take care of mom and Louis no matter what ...sometimes I just wanted to get away but this promise was holding me back.I am still praying that every things gonna be sorted out and when it does things will get normal.
Louis was paying attention to his study's after that incident and this was the only good thing happened in these two weeks .I was satisfied that atleast he is giving attention to something he really should.Dad would be really happy to see him standing on his feet.

I was still in bed thinking all the these things when I saw the  time it already 7:30 and I was getting late for work .Today we have a meeting with Aplex manufacturers AGAIN.I have to face that rude man Again Ughhhh he just give me headache,I  already had enough past these few days am not ready for more drama.
I got up from bed ,rushed towards bathroom and within ten minutes I was out done my morning rituals.I tied my hair into usual ponytail and hurriedly rushed downstairs I decided to skip breakfast so I directly headed towards the gate.I was about to open the gate when suddenly mom stepped inside and shocked me.
"Morning mom ! What ...what are you doing outside this early ?" I questioned worryingly after greeting her morning.

"Aren't you late for work Elena ?"
Instead of answering she just questioned me back with bitterness in her voice.

"Yes I am but you look pale what happened ?is everything okay ??"

"Nothing that concerns you Elena now go ."

"But.." before I would ask her anything she just walk past me and went straight towards her room...I sighed and left for work .

"Elena meeting is gonna start is five." Rose informed me showing her white teeth.

"Okay am coming."I replied and started picking up all the necessary things especially the contract file which Emily gave me to review.
Hope so this project works ,its really important for Emily and she is really looking forward to this.

I stepped inside the meeting room ,Emily and Maggie were already seated in their respective seats.

"Good morning!" I greeted both of them as soon as their heads moved in my direction and took the seat next to Emily.

"Morning to you too Elena." Emily greeted me back.

"Elena you look tired ? Is everything okay with you ?" Maggie asked me with concern .
