That one moment...

CHAPTER 10

                      

                                           Elena Johnson

"You really don't like your face ? " I blurted as soon as that girl stopped talking .

"Omg ! Elena is that you ? Jeeez look at you ,you look so different ,I mean to say bad different,I couldn't even recognized you ...." She exclaimed with wonder looking all over me ,like she was trying to figure it out that it is actually ME.  

 The girl was no one else but my childhood friend Jessica .Five years earlier their whole family moved to their ancestor's home which was far away from here and she was totally gone from my life until now she had just showed  in front of my door.God, I have missed her so badly and she had to leave few months after my dad died when I really needed her but I understood that she had to leave.

 "AAHHH! I have missed you so much and finally you are here." I hugged her and whispered in her ear with tears in my eyes

."Me too Elena ,me too..."

 "Come on come inside."I said while dragging her inside and I saw mom was awake .

"Who is she Elena ? " Mom asked suspiciously .

"Hello Aunt Leticia its me Jessica ."Jessica greeted mom with a hug.

"Oh you after so long time ,it's good to see you here ."mom greeted her back with a smile.

"Yes! it is ,it's good to be home after a long time ."

"Elena take Jessica to your room ,I will call you both down when breakfast is ready ."mom suggested.

"Yeah sure!Come on Jessica lets go to my room. "  

 "So what's with all this change ? Your appearance is totally like changed I wouldn't have recognized if you haven't said those words.What's wrong ? what is it ? " she asked with a deep concern for me as soon as we entered my room.

"You know after dad died everything was changed ,everything,me ,Mom ,Louis and our small world.Now I don't exist for them and Louis thinks that  I am the reason that dad died.I changed my appearance because I had to struggle and didn't wanted to attract any attentions towards me ,I had no time for that.''I answered her while looking out of the window.

"This is bullshit about what Louis is thinking .Don't worry he will realize this soon enough that its not your fault .I have seen you suffering and I know you must have struggled so hard to get here where you are now .You are a strong person Elena you really are ! " She said while holding my hands .

"Am so glad you are here ,I was really alone in all this and now I am tired of this I want to make this right."

 "Elena Am only here for a month but I promise I will do whatever it takes to help you."
 Just for a  month no.....                                                                                                                                

                                                 Jason Clarke 

"Jasi ! Jasi! " I heard Megan's voice calling me as soon as I stepped out of the car ,I turned around to see where she was and she running towards me with her little feet.

"AWW! My baby girl.How are you princess? Did you missed uncle Jasi ? " I asked Megan holding her up in my arms .

"Yesh I mizzed you so very mush uncle Jasi and Grand pa too."She said as she saw dad coming out of the car.

"Here my girl I got you so many gifts."Dad kissed her cheeks .

"Yay ! Gifsh ! Gifsh ! "Megan was jumping in my arms with excitement .

"You wanna see gifts ? Go on car is full of gifts ." I said while putting her down.

I saw Helena and Adam were walking towards us.I hugged both of them and we moved inside their house.Their was more like a museum as Adam and Helena both are very fond of history .They have a wide range of historical things ,books and paintings which never looked boring or waste of money. I came to the dinning table after taking bath ,everyone was already settled on the table but as I entered the dinning room they all started laughing hysterically like they have seen a joker.

"Jason dad told us about that girl .Who really clean bowled you man."Adam chuckled .

"Oh Come on Dad .Stop humiliating me in front of the whole world,It hurts ." I pouted while putting meal in my plate.Helena had done good job on the lunch she had made vegetable rice ,white sauce pasta ,green salad and mushroom chicken.NO doubt she was good at her cooking and spices.

"I know Jason we meant the world for you but dad haven't told the whole yet ."Helena teased .

"Yeah agreed!"Adam and dad both spoke at the same time.

"Come on Adam not you man. At least you should understand how does it feel when you are insulted by a girl." I almost begged to Adam .

"Yeah man ! I can understand that .In fact I had been insulted by your sister in front of the whole class back in college when I accidentally fell on her." Adam said while looking towards Helena .

"Really Helena you did that ? " Dad asked Helena with excitement.

"Come on Adam that was a long time ago and for the record you didn't fall on me accidentally in fact you did that for a purpose  ." Helena said wickedly .

"What purpose ? "I questioned with my mouth full of rice.

"To be seen by me ."she said viciously .

"You Know Jason Helena had a very bad attitude seriously.She never talked to boys  until  it was important and if a boy tries to talk to her irrelevant she will just insult them and believe me real bad insult and Helena I did fall on you accidentally." Adam chuckled.

"Yeah your friend helped you fall on me right ? " Helena giggled and Adam just nodded.

"Hey Jason ! Believe me she is the best part of me."Adam whispered in my ear and I saw both of them looking at each other with loads of love in their eyes for one another .I have always adored their way of looking at each other which for real depicts their love. 

  I was done with my meal so I walked out side in the garden where Megan was playing with her toys .              

May be someday I will have the best of me ....
