That one moment...

CHAPTER 9

   What should I do I have to take Dad to Helena and the other hand there's a lot of things going on in office .This came up may be God want me to go ,I really need a break so why not to go? definitely I should and it's long I haven't met my sister ,there's a lot I want to tell her and above all I want to meet Megan ,little princess of mine .

 I was bad at sharing things since Helena got married because I used to tell her about everything but whenever I meet her I shared things with her only face to face not on phone and she always knew that something was wrong even before I open my mouth but this time it's really important .Helena know about that MISS ANONYMOUS as I told her the day I met that girl and she really teased me about that . okay it's final am going just for one day ,nothing wrong will happen 

.I abruptly picked up my phone from the side table and sent message to Tina ,Tom and Jake "I am taking Dad to Helena's Tomorrow so , office is on you three for one day .Keep me posted about everything tomorrow."

  I took the quick shower ,brushed my teeth ,wear lose trousers and T-shirt, set the alarm for tomorrow as I have to get up early and then I just slammed myself on bed and slept .           

 TRING!TRING! Alarm was ringing .I groaned in sleep and set off the alarm.Dragged myself towards the bathroom and came out all fresh .

I  wore casual pant and shirt ,nicely combed my hair and picked up my phone and head downstairs .Dad was sitting on dinning table and he was wearing the shirt which Helena gifted him on his birthday .
"Morning Dad !By the way nice shirt " I greeted dad focusing on his shirt. 

"Morning and thank you .It was a gift and look someone is in good mood today .

"Dad teased while I was putting toast in my plate ."

"Dad don't start it am in a real good mood today as I am going to meet my sister and hurry up we have to leave ."I said while eating breakfast .

"Your sister will be really happy to see you and especially Megan ,she is grown big now .I still remember holding her so little in my arms for the first time when she was born ,such an adorable girl ."Dad smiled remembering that time .No doubt she was and she is adorable like a doll .        

 After breakfast we were settling all the things in car for the trip and I saw Dad holding a lot of gifts in his hand .

 "When did you buy them ? "I questioned in a surprise .

 "Yesterday ! before you came home I bought all these gifts .''Dad replied while putting them in backseat .

"Shit I forgot to buy anything ."

"Relax ! Some of them are having your name on it ."

 "Oh my....Really? Thank you so much dad U are so cool." I exclaimed with joy while starting the car engine.I was hoping that this trip will release some of the tension from my head...                                                                                                            Elena Johnson   

   I came home early all upset about tomorrow what will I do? I regularly go to office because I don't like being home especially after Dad died ,Job helped me to make myself busy in other things then being going into depression above all now no one cares if I stay home or not .

I saw mom in kitchen preparing for dinner,I putted all the things on table in living room and went straight into the kitchen to help her .She was making Louis's favorite stakes,she always do great job with them and every time she makes them is more delicious then before.

"Mexican stakes with mashed potatoes.."I exclaimed in excitement.

"Yes! Louis wanted  these in dinner ."Mom said smiling which was weird like I saw her smiling after a long time ,she was actually in a good mood.I was shocked but happy to see her in a good mood.

"So can I help ? I have a day off tomorrow so I can help ."I suggested noticing her expression which were not so good to know about my day off tomorrow .

"What ? why day off tomorrow ? don't You have meeting ? "Mom asked impatiently .

"I had a meeting today which went well due which Emily gave me a day off tomorrow for my good work,she said I was restless.So,can I help? '' I replied and asked her again about helping her 

."No!It's okay it's almost done .You go freshen up ,I will call you when its ready.

"Mom said coldly .Wow that was rude so I decided its best to listen to her and I didn't want to ruin her mood. I came to my room ,settled all the things on side table and went to washroom to wash my face. When I came out I heard mom was calling downstairs

.Everything was already on set on the table in living room specially mouth watering stakes .I quickly settled down on chair in front of Louis ,I asked him about how he was doing ? About his studies,he was doing engineering which he started six months before and some random stuff and He just answered my questions to the point .I just wondered how things have changed in these past few years. I and Louis were very close,used to all the crazy stuff together and above all shared things but now we just know each other.          

   After dinner I came in my room I laid down on my bed desperately wanted to sleep ,I was actually tired after all that drama at office. The taste of stake was still fresh in my mouth every spice was perfectly added  and beautifully cooked .No doubt my mother is a good cook but I don't know how to make things better with Louis like they were before.Hope so someday I will get my brother back!   

    I woke up around 8 in the morning,I had a sound sleep at night may because I was too tired that's why.I was still on bed that the I heard the door bell ,I went downstairs to see who is it .I opened the door.

 "Hi! " I greeted with a broad smile .

"Ahhh..Am sorry isn't it Elena Johnson's ? Is she inside ? can you call her please? "The girl asked so many questions in a confused tone
