That one moment...

chapter 20

               Elena Johnson
I was sitting in my room lost in my own thoughts but I wasn't crying because all of my tears were dried now.I didn't wanted to cry anymore I wanted to be strong for Louis but I felt so weak at that time that I didn't even have the strength to move myself.

"Elena here eat this " Jessica said giving me a piece of sandwich.

I didn't want to eat because my appetite was dead today but Jessica forced me to eat.She gave me medicine with glass of milk.

Its so strange that there is medicine for almost every ache but there isn't any medicine for heartache which was bleeding with pain right now...and I can't even show it to anyone so that someone can tell me the cure or can tell me how to mitigate the pain I was in right now .

I laid down with my head in Jessica's lap and she was playing with hair with a melody she always did whenever I was ill .I was hearing that after so many years and to be honest that was really soothing pain.

"Elena have you thought about telling Louis yet ?" She asked softly.

I looked up at her with blank expressions "I Don't know Jessica...he wouldn't believe me .."I replied.

"But you know have to ,he should know otherwise he will be living in this lie his whole life " Jessica said while passing her fingers through my hair.

"I know ..."I said with a big sigh.

I stood up from bed I don't know what came over me but I started crying again with my both hands covering my face.

"Elena what happened ..."Jessica asked worryingly.

"I can't ....believe all that... is actually truth ...." I cried with hiccups.

" shhhh...shhhh..stop crying over those people who took the most important thing away from you."

" But Jessica why would she do such a horrible thing to us?." I questioned her.

" we don't know for now Elena but we will ...you are crying now but don't you dare cry on it after this day"

She helped me to lay down.I was so tried that I drifted off to sleep as soon as I closed my eyes.

Elena ,Jason and Jessica all three of them were looking towards James with their eyes wide open like they had seen a ghost , it was no ghost but the truth from which  all three of them were unaware.The truth which was hidden from so many years was now revealed.

"Uncle what are you saying?" Jessica questioned James with shocked expressions.

"Dad are you sure about this ?"Jason questioned her father.

Elena was silent with tears filled in her eyes she wasn't sure what to say or what to believe.

"Yes !! Its true ..."James stopped for a brief second."Elena Elizabeth ...I mean your mother is not your real mother but she is your step mother..." James completed.

"Uncle mother is a mother not real or step one."Elena said with choked throat and tears which she was holding back in her eyes,  started to flow on her cheeks.

Watching Elena cry Jason was restless which was unusual for him.He was confused that why he couldn't see her cry ,why wanted to ease her pain...

" I know Elena child ....but sometimes real and unreal do matter..." James tried to explain.

"Where is my mother ?" Elena inquired about her mother.

" she died giving birth to you..and ..."James looked up at Elena who was crying her eyes out.
"Elena am soo sorry child I never wanted you to know the truth like this.." James said moving near Elena and putting his hand on Elena's shoulder.

" Its not your fault uncle ..I asked for the truth..and I want to know the complete truth." Elena said wiping her tears.

"Uncle then how did aunt Elizabeth came into uncle Ben's  life ? Jessica asked James .

"Ben married Elizabeth when Elena was one year old.I know about this because Ben once told me...everything was going good but once  when we met he was really upset  .when I asked him about it he replied with one sentence' sometimes people  show their real color' I couldn't understand this at that time but I suspect  that may be your father came to know somethings about your mother"James explained.

"What things you are talking about dad ?Jason asked his father .

"I don't know but you have to do something to know about it " James said looking at his son.

" we will dad " Jason replied with hope in his voice which made Elena to look at him and they both looked at each other for a brief moment and that gaze from Elena clicked something in Jason's body from which Jason himself was  unaware.

I was lying in my bed with memories of today passing through my brain.
Everything which Elena came to know about her life so much or I should  say much more .She doesn't deserve this no one can deserve these horrifying truths of their life .Its true no matter wherever you go somethings will always find their way to you.
If I put myself at Elena's place and I was the one who came to know these truths I will be completely shattered may be I would have indulged myself in something dangerous  to ease the pain but Elena she is so strong and she has been so strong throughout the whole meeting I know she did cry but it was her right to cry today.
I will and want to do everything which is in my hand to help  Elena .The thing which was seriously stuck in my mind was her last gaze on me I Don't know but  I saw so much pain ,hope and fear in her eyes that for a minute I was lost in her deep hazel eyes which were red due to constant crying...
That gaze Jason did click something inside you there was something which made you shiver which made you happy and frightened at the same time..
Oh God ! I Don't know what am thinking right now.forget about it and sleep.

In the morning my phone buzzed when I came out of washroom after taking shower .
"Its time for plan B " it was text from Jessica.

"Okay I will text you details."I replied.

After replying her I dialed a number waited for the user to pick up.

" miss Elizabeth ! " the user picked up after three rings.

" who are you ?" User asked sternly.

" I am someone who know some secrets about you !"

" What secrets?"user asked sounding annoyed.

"About your husband's accident miss Elizabeth I think you would want to know !"

Complete silence on the other line for a second and that made me happy.

" What you want ?" User asked after breaking the silence.

" May be we can meet and talk about it ? What you say miss Elizabeth ? And may be we can make a deal about it ? You can choose your own place and timing." I smirked.

" Around 3 pm at park lane ." The user replied.

" See you then miss Elizabeth. "I said and hung up the phone.

I immediately typed the texted to Jessica." Our prey will be hunted at park lane around 3 pm." I pressed the send button.

"We'll be there to catch it "Jessica replied.
