Chapter 19

"Uncle please tell me !!" Elena pleaded .

"Your mother did ."I responded after gaining some courage because I knew it will be. Impossible for Elena to believe.

As soon as those words left my mouth Elena shot up from her seat and anger y evident from her red face.

"Are you out of your mind ???...do you even listen to yourself .After all the things you did ,you have the  audacity to speak ill of my mother "she glared at me.

"Elena child ....please listen..." Dad tried to  calm Elena down.

"Uncle ...why my mother would do such a thing ...she is my mother..I don't want to hear any of this."Elena scowled.

"Elena...listen to me ....You have to believe us if you want to know that truth."Jessica said rubbing Elena's cheeks .

"I don't want to know this horrible truth."Elena inhaled sharply.

"Miss Elena ...sometimes a bitter truth is better than living in a beautiful lie and your lie is not beautiful for you I presume."I said moving in front of her .She looked up at me with so much pain and her eyes were filled with tears.
Elena started sobbing and at that time I Don't know why but my heart ached for her I mean I did lose my mother but the scenario was different she wasn't murdered that was an actual accident....I wanted to console her ,I wanted to tell her that everything is going to be okay but I couldn't do that  because it was inappropriate of me to do.

Those eyes ....why they always look familiar ....

I closed my eyes and shock that thought away.

After a while Elena took a deep breath and wiped away her tears."okay I want to know...but tell me one good reason that I should believe whatever you are about to say."

" I have proof ." I snapped and she just remained silent.

"You may want to sit down for this ."I said politely.
I was talking to her politely now and a week ago I didn't even wanted to hear her name,A  shocking turn by my life.

She obliged and sat down beside Jessica,Dad and I were seated in front of her.

" I have gathered some information about your parents phone records and they showed some irregular activities few weeks before your fathers death ...." I said while putting phone records in front to her."according to this your father has called his lawyer many times in his last days and right now we don't know for sure why he did that ...and about your mother she was in contact with a person named 'Jake Hilton ' shockingly she also called him 15 minutes before the accident."

"Jake Hilton?"Elena asked in bewilderememt.

"Yes ! Do you know him ?"I  enquired.

"He is my mothers cousin but he doesn't live in this town ..."Elena replied.

"That's what your mother told you but he was here all the time infact he was the one who was driving the car ..."I stopped."The car which hited your father and it was no accident but a planned murder by both of them." I completed.

"How can you say that ?"Elena choked.

"I know its hard to believe but I have something which will prove everything." I played the conversation .

"Are you all set for the plan ?" Woman's voice.
"Yes am already here ..what about them ?had they left yet?"man's voice .
"Yeah they had left for the gift shop make sure you hit him well and it should look like an accident..." Woman's voice.
"Don't worry....and what about the girl ?" Man's voice.
"No make sure she lives ...I need her now."woman's voice.

Elena gasps and  she covered her mouth with her hands.

"Do you recognise these voices child?"dad asked .

"My mother ..."Elena replied her voice shaking and tears slipped from eyes .
Those tears were flowing on her cheeks but I felt like I was crying like I was experiencing that pain.Everything seemed so wrong at that time.

Not now Jason come on focus !!

"Ahem...miss Elena why your mother say 'she needs you 'everytime ?"

"Everytime ?"Elena frowned.

I looked towards Jessica to tell herself what she heard .

"Um Elena the day before yesterday I stopped by the coffee shop to grab some breakfast and coffee for you when I was on my way to your home I saw your mother entering the near park I Don't know but I followed her and also heard her saying this to someone that 'I need her ' this made me more suspicious about her so I decided to ask Jason for help."Jessica explained and we both noticed that there was something Elena knows too.

"What is it Elena ?" Jessica asked Elena.

"Today I  heard her talking to someone on phone and I heard these words too 'I need her '..."Elena replied with confused expressions.

"Do you by any chance know what she meant by it ?"I questioned .

"No ..I have no idea." Elena said with hurt expressions.

"Am so sorry Elena I Don't know why your mother did that ....But I wasn't there for my friend and for his family that guilt will haunt me everyday."Dad said sincerely.

"Its not your fault uncle ...you didn't know "Elena said quietly.

"There is something else you should know Elena ....a one more truth ...."dad said,which made all three of us to look at him with eyes wide open.

"One more truth ..."Elena asked with wet eyes .

"Dad what truth  are you talking about ." I said with a frown.I didn't know what dad was talking about but I was growing impatient to know about it .

Dad was looking really upset I think Jessica sensed that "uncle is everything okay ? You look upset?" She asked with a concerned look.

"Yes ...am fine its just..Elena will you be able to hear this ?" Dad asked Elena who was lost somewhere.

"Elena ?" Dad called her again.

"Yes uncle ....I Don't think so I will be able to hear anymore truth about my life by tomorrow ..." Elena said wiping her tears.
"I can hear it .." she said with her eyes closed like she was gaining some strength.

"Elena your mother .......".

Hello guys okay bit late update and this chapter is short one but last truth will be revealed in next chapter bcz I Don't want you guys to lose interest.:p
