Epilogue

2 years later....

Two small hands held Jason's finger and he felt a sudden strange feeling which was overwhelming but it felt great.The softness of the hands was like he was holding flowers in his fingers.The hands were tiny as compared to his that he was afraid he will hurt them but he wanted to hold them and play with them.

"They are beautiful Elena."Jason finally confessed to Elena who was lying on the hospital bed.

"Yes, they are the most beautiful reality of my life." Elena replied with wide smile on her face.

"They are so soft and delicate .A person couldn't get tired of looking at them." Jason smiled while poking the cheeks of two babies in the cot.

The babies were no else's but Jason and Elena's.They had twins after two years of their marriage and as soon as Elena knew that one of the twin was baby girl she instantly told Jason that her name will be Lisa after his mother.Jason was speechless after he heard that but he was really happy with Elena's decision.

"Jason I was really scared that I would end up like my mother and I would die after giving birth to them  and I wouldn't be able to hold them ..to touch them or to love them...I just..."Elena couldn't complete because she was interrupted by Jason .

"Shhhh ...it's okay ...you are here with them, you will love them and you are going to be a perfect mother.It's okay to be scared but don't let the fear ruin your happiness.You are not going anywhere as I wouldn't let you go ."Jason said while rubbing his thumb on Elena's cheek and she smiled at him with adoration ."We are parents now...and I am a father."Jason smiled with twinkling eyes and kissed Elena's temple.

"Thank you for coming into my life."Elena  relieved a happy sigh and put her head on Jason's shoulder.

Their moment was interrupted as soon as everyone barged into the  room and quietness turned into loud cheerings.

"Ohh they are so cute Elena ...I could eat them, they are so adorable."Jessica cooed .Jessica was married almost for a year now  with Jack, who she met at the coffee shop just like Elena and Jason but with the exception that they didn't lost each other like Jason and Elena.

"Hey don't eat my niece and nephew.If your hungry eat something else."Helena said and everyone giggled.

"Mommy they are so small,and their hands are so tiny." Meghan said cheerfully.

"Yes darling ,they are babies  and babies are small."Adam said while picking her up in his arms.

Meghan was four years old now and she was so much excited to meet the babies that she would often ask Elena when they will come.Elena would just smile at her innocence and tell her to wait  just few more months.
As for Helena and Adam they were expecting their second child.

"Their feet are so small ,how will they walk with those feet daddy?" Meghan asked Adam innocently.

"They wouldn't walk now sweetie,they will when they will be big, just like you."Helena explained to Meghan while kissing her cheeks .

"Really ?Then I will play with them and I will also teach them how to color. Can I aunt Elena ?"Meghan asked Elena showing her teeth.

"Of course you can sweetie ,they will love to play with you ."Elena smiled at her.

"Hey does anyone noticed I am an uncle now ."Louis exclaimed with excitement while holding baby Lisa in his hands.

"We are glad you know that very soon,Son." James patted Louis's shoulder and everyone chuckled.

"Thank you Elena...for everything your dad will be really proud of you."James stroke Elena's hair lovingly.

"Thank you for being my father,Uncle James." Elena said with teary eyes and James mouthed 'Always' to her.

"Okay! guys I gotta go.I have an interview in two hours.I know these buddies are going to be my good luck today." Louis informed while putting Baby Lisa in the cot.

Everyone wished best of luck to Louis and he left after hugging and congratulation Jason and Elena.Louis just had his convocation two months ago and now he was applying for jobs to settled down in his life.

Everyone was gathered around the kids even Jason and Elena was just lost in her own world.She was thinking about her last meeting with Elizabeth,when she was taking her last breadth.Elizabeth was diagnosed with brain tumor six months after she was taken in by police.Elena still remember how fragile,weak and vulnerable she was and how she asked for forgiveness from Elena.She still remember how Elizabeth cried with her both hands clasped together.Elena thought that she would never cry for that woman but she did when she died because for her she was her mother.The day Elizabeth died Elena transferred the property to an Orphan house because she wanted to make a good use of that property like her father would have done.
Elena used to think that if things would have been better then Elizabeth would also have been here with her grandchildren but she understands now that if her past was different then she wouldn't have been here,she wouldn't have been Jason Clarke's wife and mother of two beautiful twins.Elena don't want to regret on her past anymore.Elena looked around her and she saw happiness which made her heart swell.Why would she regret her past.She was happy now because of her past and she didn't want to change anything about her past because she know 'Everything happened for a reason.'

Elena's thoughts were interrupted when Jason caressed her cheek softly and she smiled at him lovingly.

"I know you are thinking about Elizabeth." Jason said knowingly.

"Yeah..its just..." Elena couldn't finished .

"I know its hard to forget but Elena you did the great thing by forgiving her and you made her path easier and I am proud of you." Jason smiled at her.

"Hey we know that name of the Baby girl is Lisa but what's the name of baby boy?" Helena asked while holding baby boy in her arms who  yawned in her arms.

"His name is Ben...He is our little Ben.." Jason announced immediately.

A small gasp left Elena's mouth and she looked at him with shocking eyes.She never expect that but she couldn't deny the fact that Jason always surprised her in his own ways.A small tear escaped Elena's eye and Jason wiped that away with his thump."He's our Ben,Elena."Jason whispered and Elena nodded.

James hugged his Son and patted his back.Helena  and Jessica exclaimed 'its a wonderful choice.'  Adam also hugged him after shaking Jason's hand.Jason turned around with Meghan in his arms and Elena mouthed 'THANK YOU' to

"Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you until you choose to be happy.No person will make you happy unless you decide to be happy.Your happiness will not come to you.It can only come FROM YOU."
