"I would like to meet Nandu", Navya said with a straight face to the man that walked into the room she is locked up in.
There was no emotion on his blank face like usual as Ranbir walked in, "You will meet her soon, not now. So stop your hunger strike", he ordered simply and pushed the tray of food towards her.
From the day, Navya is kidnapped, she has been trapped in this room. She didn't got tied up or anything, they just kept her in this luxurious room where she has no idea what this place is. But she heard the name of Manik Malhotra and from there it is not that difficult to guess that these people are using her like a pawn to win the game against Nandini.
When the chloroform effect went away, Navya didn't tried to fight back, she knows how to stay calm to survive in this cruel world. And nothing worse happened, they treated her better. No one touched her. Good food and fresh clothes were brought in, for her, everyday. There are maids. She is bored but atleast she is alive.
But Navya is worried about Nandini, losing bits of her sanity with time passing by. And these people are not answering to her, maids know nothing and guards don't respond.
Her patience ran out. And so, she stopped eating. The man who kidnapped her has stepped into her room, finally.
Navya knows Manik won, that's why these people are still alive. If Nandini has won, Navya would be walking free out of this room by now. So it's clear who won and her gut feeling told her that Manik won't kill Nandini. No, that young guy is way too obsessed with Nandini to let her go, even if it's to death.
She stared at the food plate but didn't touched, Navya stood firmly infront of Ranbir, "I know you guys have Nandu, let me meet her", she requested calmly once again.
Ranbir stared down at her, his gaze strong and unwavering. As he stared at this woman, it's so clear how she is different from the Cobra's heir.
Nandini Murthy is clever, yes but she is also young and still has that innocence in her eyes. In the way she looks upto him with eyes filled with warmth that's not for him, with expectations and love she had for his younger brother who looks like him. Almost similar to how Manik looks at him when they're not in battle mood but that guy snaps out of it in a second.
Navya is not like that. He can tell that she never met his brother, so she never searches for the familiarity in his face. Most people fear Ranbir and rightfully so. But this woman looks at him with a scrutinizing gaze, he can almost feel the bitter taste of the disgust in her stare.
He never bothers about these things. It never bothered him. But somehow it is bothering him and Ranbir hates it. That's why he avoided her, Ranbir made sure to not step in here since the day he bought her here on Manik's order. But now he couldn't avoid Navya anymore when maids said that she didn't ate anything since last night and Ranbir trusts no other gangmen who will handle her harmlessly.
