MaNan from Kaisi yeh yaariaan.
Nandini and Manik were just teenagers when they met each other. Both of them belong to rival gangs, they don't meant to be together. But then love just happens and so they fell in love.
And again, they don't have every...

Nandini smiled at the sky with closed eyes, leaning her head on his back as she wrapped her arms around Manik's waist tightly, back hugging him just so that she can immerse into him somehow. The smell of his familiar leather jacket is comforting, the wind hitting her face is harsh and Mooncity streets at this hour are quiet.
Manik's bike roared loudly, ripping the silence away as he took her on a ride. The old memories rushed in her mind and for a moment, Nandini really felt like she is back to the time where she knew nothing and nothing bad happened between them.
Forgiving is such a strange concept. Nandini doesn't think she understands it fully. It still pains her and feels like her heart breaking into pieces whenever she thought about that night.
Cabir got hurt, Nandini killed a man for the first time in her life. Manik confessed to her and then stomped on her heart ruthlessly with his words. He took away the only person who kept her safe growing up. Mukti. How can she forgive the person who take her away from Nandini?
But then again how can she NOT forgive the person whom she loves with all of her heart?
Abhi says the one who lives must move on, Mukti is dead. She should forgive and move on. Because Nandini is still alive, Manik is still alive. And she still loves him, no matter what.
Again, is loving gives the power to forgive everything? Where should the line begin? Does Manik holds that much power on her? Can he fix her heart again because he is the one who broke it in the first place? Can they go back like how they used to just by repeating their memories? By doing similar things they used to do together? Like now, him taking her on a ride in the middle of the night.
Manik says nothing is changed. He kissed her deeply before he got on his bike and grinned brightly like a child when she held his shoulder to get on his motorbike. It's not the old one, this one looks like the bike that he chased her with on that day.
He stopped the bike as they reached the park, Manik held her hand as they walked over together, the grass is still hard and pokey like last time she was here. He laid down and pulled her down, let her head rest on his chest as they stared at sky. No stars. Just moon.
Nandini turned aside to look at him, are things really not changed? Is it really okay to find comfort each other again? To be happy?
Or is it too greedy of her?
Manik felt her gaze and stared back at her with a smile as he leaned in to kiss her. Nandini closed her eyes as she let him cup her face and kiss him back.
He broke the kiss and Nandini felt something in his hand. "Of course, nothing is same. You're not my sunshine anymore", Manik is not smiling at her anymore. The deep loving gaze is gone in seconds and Nandini looked at him confused. In a flash of second, the moon is not shining anymore, he is looking like a Monster with that glare and so much hatred towards her that she got scared. Her eyes went wide in shock as she felt the gun barrel touch her stomach and Manik pulled the trigger with no mercy.
