MaNan from Kaisi yeh yaariaan.
Nandini and Manik were just teenagers when they met each other. Both of them belong to rival gangs, they don't meant to be together. But then love just happens and so they fell in love.
And again, they don't have every...

Manik had consulted a doctor after his blackout at the Cobras den, when he got mad seeing his buddy almost dead in Nandini's arms. She tried to stop him, held him back but Manik just knocked her out cold. He lost the control.
Cabir was worried sick when he found Manik in that park, aftermath. Lost and disfunctional. Then his buddy requested him to consult a doctor because Manik's state was too alarming and his inability to remember exactly what he had done until another 24 hours had passed.
Later on, he got the flashes of blood scenes and after a day, he was able to put the picture back. It was too late then. Manik has already killed a lot of people by then and one of them was Nandini's sister.
Fuck. She looked the same as he remembers from the day his parents were killed. He remembers, that woman was franatically looking for his sunshine, shouting Nandini's name while stepping into the den where Manik already created a blood bath.
She put up a big fight. In his rage, he asked her if she remembers Malhotras whom she killed, now they hurt his buddy and he is going to take Nandini far away from here. He warned her not to say the younger name anymore.
Manik was not going to let Cobras destroy his new family again, like they did in past.
Instead the red haired woman just smiled as if she found her peace, his knife went deeper. She whispered, "Sorry and take good care of my Nandini".
He then realised who she is, Manik didn't know the woman who killed his parents is the same woman who took care and raised his Nandini.
That was when he started panicking. Till now, he didn't realised the massacre around him, the blood on his hands, distorted faces, the skulls he smashed with his metal bat.
He had to get out. Out of here. It's late. Manik hated that red haired woman is the same one who took care of Nandini. Things were repeating. It's late. Too late already. He started a gang war, he exploded. And he is getting numb. Numb almost like dead.
The doctor determined he had suffered what was generally known as a 'psychotic break'. The medicines were prescribed, advised him to stay away from the violence.
Manik didn't went back to the consultation ever again.

It wasn't the first time Nandini had woken in a dark room, with a foggy mind and a sluggish body.
But it was the first time she had woken to the sight of a puppy, licking her palm as if Nandini's fingers are made of meat stick.
"We assumed Bruno might calm you down a bit", standing motionless, with his arms folded at his stomach.
Nandini just watched him for a moment. Against the light of the window, his face was in shadow, but she vaguely remembered the guy who stood by Bentley and made the connection. The movements were methodical and smooth and rang a bell of familiarity in Nandini's hazy mind, but it wasn't functioning too well yet.
