Bill Cipher X Reader: Prisoner (prologue)

You were watching, from your window, the sunset behind the forets' trees that where moving rapidly, making a beautiful scenery before your eyes.

You where close to your new home, your new life, your new future.

Everyone in the car was silent. It made a thick and akward atmosphere. You didn't like it.

You were thinking about all of your friends you were leaving behind (especially your best friend), you really hoped they were alright.

Somehow, the mersmerizing scene you were watching made it even more sad, you couldn't help but let a tear escape your eye and roll down your cheek.

Why where you moving to gravity falls, far from your comfort, far from your home? Well, allow me to explain...

It's been a while since your mother has given up on her old career. At first, she liked her life as a house mother, but soon got bored of it. She didn't want to end up like she was, she wanted excitement, she wanted adventure! Not long after realising she couldn't go on like this, she decided to dig up an old passion she has given up on: Conspiracies. Yes, yes, conspiracies, you know, the stuff with the illuminati, the lizard-like aliens, the super soldiers, etc... And, after working on that kind of stuff for two years, she decided that we were going to move into Gravity Falls, "the strangest city in the hole world" according to your mom. This town is supposed to be a gold mine for mystery solvers (like your mom was).

Even though you and your younger brother didn't like that idea at all, not wanting to lose your friends and everything you've known from your hometown, surprisingly, your mom kind of... Ignored your complaints. It wasn't an usual reaction for her since she would always listen to you and your brother, especially after your father died... She always made sure her kids were happy, trying to make up for their crying at their father's funeral.

You glared towards your mother who was driving. You where mad- wait, no.... that's not the word.... You were FURIOUS at her! How dare she??? How dare she's being so selfish right now? You didn't like the fact that she forced you to come into this awful, stupid and probably ugly town, but you were even more worried for your brother.... You've never seen him so sad in his entire life. And on top of that, Gravity falls was in the middle of nowhere. FAN-TA-FUCKING-STIC.

Telling youself that being angry with your mother would only make things worse, you calmed yourself down and let out a big sigh. You turned your head to see your younger sibling, promising yourself that you would always be there for him and protect the little guy...

When you arrived at your new home, you didn't even bother to talk to your mother. The first thing you did was going upstairs then to your room. You were grateful that all the furniture had been placed by the movers before you arrived, it would've been a pain in the ass if you had to place everything with your mother.... Also, you were tired, so very tired... After all, you were stuck in the car for 8 hours and traveling is tiring. Not as much as if you had to walk all the way, but still.

You studied your new room, recognizing your furniture. But then, something cought your eye. Your new window.... It was strange. It was made in a triangal shape, decorated with a weird oval in the middle that looked like an eye. This made you a bit curious. It WAS the illuminati's symbol after all... You decided not to think about it for now, as your mind was already filled with more important problems. You passed the hole evening in your bed, still frustrated and trying to get used to the mix between the new chamber and the older furniture. Eventually, your eyes gently shut down, letting you have some rest. You'll need it the next morning to start school...
