The sound of bird's singing put you out of your sleep. As your eyes opened, you sat on the corner of your bed, rubbing your eyes to let them ajust to the lighting in your bedroom. You then looked at the forest that was surrounding your house from the strange window. Even if you didn't like mosquitoes, dirt and other forest stuff that annoyed you, you had to admit that nature around here was beautiful. The light of the rising sun filled your room and gave you a feeling of peace, wich you rarely had, especially recently... You closed your eyes and smelled the pine trees. You smiled, relaxed from this calm sent. Maybe that house wasn't so bad after all...

You then completed your morning routine with your brother and you were both sent to school. No words were exchanged between your mother and you except for "good bye". You went to walk for school earlier, since you were scared to be late... After all, you still didn't know the place very well and you didn't know anyone who could help with that.

When you were at school, that's were you noticed how everyone acted so..... anormal. Luckily for you, being weird yourself, you didn't mind that much. You also noticed, concerned, that there was always the same simbol repeating itself through the town: a triangle with an eye in it. You had to admit that it made you a bit anxious, but since days would pass without anything strange happening to you, you let it flow under the bridge.

Soon enough, being a nice person and all, you found yourself some friends that were as weird as you. Not that they replaced your older friends or anything! You were still very attatched the your gang back in your hometown. Every evening, you chatted on facebook with your best friend to know what was going on, how they were, etc...

Back to your new friends, you've gained 2 that surpassed the others in friendship material: Candy and Grenda. Candy was a small korean girl who was very sweet while Grenda was an animal-loving girl with strong features and a deep voice. They were both really fun to hang out with. You three mostly talked about boys. Yes, I know, cliché, but you just couldn't help it!!! Especially since you had a never-ending crush on a boy named Seb (short for Sebastian). He was really sweet, handsome and yet, he didn't seem to notice you that much... This always made you a bit sad, but you just rolled with it, you know? attempting to get closer to him from time to time, without rushing it. You also spent most of your time solving conflicts in your new band of friends. All of your friends would always tell you how understanding you where and almost envy you for your "great wisdom", to wich you always responded that they, too, can have "great wisdom", that you weren't THAT special!

Things eventually got in place between you, your brother and your mother. Sure, it was still a bit akward sometimes, but it was WAY better than when you started your life here. You actually started to find a like in your bedroom, to your house, the forest and even the town! Life was going great for you! That is....

Until HE came into your life...

Time passed and you were now near the end of the school year...

You started to get more intrested in mysteries, especially recently. Now that your moral was much better than before, you couldn't help but pay more and more attention to the strange things from Gravity Falls. You talked to your mother about it and she decided to let you help her in some of her invistigations that weren't too dangerous for you. You were surprised of yourself, because you never were the adventurer type and yet, something about this town made you want to understand what was going on around you.... Maybe it's because you always liked to know and understand everything? Not in a "control freak" way but more like a "I don't want to be an ignorant" kind of way.

One day, your mother asked you if you wanted to go find an artifact in the forest. You asked her if it was dangerous and she told you that you only had to dig a small hole. She handed you a shovel and a map she's been working on the hole night. She told you that you didn't need to search much since she already pointed the exact position of the item you had to find on the map. You accepted and went to the exciting adventure in the forest.
