Oliver's POV
I walk up to Felicity's room to tell her dinner is ready. As I'm about to knock I can hear sobbing coming from the room. I slowly turn the doorknob and glimpse in the room. All I can see is her curled in a ball on the bed.
"Felicity?" She continues to sob, so I walk in the room.
"Are you alright?"
"You don't need to do this..."
"Do what?"
"Pity me. Not pressing charges, giving me a job, a place to stay? I know pity when I see it."
"I don't pity you."
"Oh really, then why would someone like YOU help someone like ME?"
"I want to help you. I don't think this is the real you. You act all dark, but something tells me your not. Maybe I'm crazy or maybe it's your brightness in your eyes. To me it doesn't fit."
"Ya well, you don't know me."
"Then tell me, I have a feeling you need a friend."
"When I was six, my dad left my mom and I. For my whole life if was just my mom and I. Then one day I went to collage, I met a guy. He showed me what the world was really like. He made me feel special, but I did bad things since I was so caught up. I was a hacker, but you know that. I wasn't the one who hacked your accounts though, it was my boyfriend. I just covered for him, and he repays me by cheating on me!" I am completely shocked about how open she is with me.
"You don't deserve the way you've been treated."
"Ya, well not all of us get the privileged life Pretty Boy."
"Why do you hide yourself?"
"What?"
"I've only known you a few hours and I can tell all THIS, isn't who you really are."
"To be honest, I have no idea who I am anymore."
"Dinner is ready if you're hungry..." I stand up and walk towards the door.
"Thanks... Oliver."
"No problem." I close the door and walk down to the dining room. I see my mother and Thea seated already.
"Where's the girl?"
"Her name is Felicity and she's resting."
"Very well."
"Can you stop that?"
"What?"
"Acting like she is so beneath us. She is just a person like any of us, trying to find her place in the world."
"People like that, are bad news Oliver. There's no changing them."
"I think your wrong."
