Felicity's POV
There's a knock on the door, and I manage to waddle over to it. I open it expecting to see my mother, only to see the nightmare.

"Ray..." He almost looks exactly the same from high school, bringing back the memories.

"Hi Felicity." I slam the door shut, running over to the bathroom and locking myself inside.

One year... It took him a year to find me. And of course it's now. I'm seven months pregnant. He knows I'm going to be weak.

I hear footsteps. He must have caught the door before it closed.

"Felicity." Tears roll down my cheeks as I message my swollen abdomen. My heart racing as he repeats my name once more. I pace back and forth, not able to calm down.

"I'm not going to hurt you..."

"What. Are you doing here?" I manage to spit out. Fear has taken over.

"I came to apologize."

"I-I don't believe you! Get out of my apartment!"

"Felicity... Will you please listen to me?!" I hear anger rising in the back of his voice, finally giving into the panic, everything going dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can hear voices shouting around me, as well as crying.
"Hurry! Get them on oxygen and monitors! They still might have a chance!" That's all I manage to hear before I black out again.
When I finally wake up for good I'm in a hospital room. I look around and see Oliver staring out the window.
"O-Oliver?" My voice is hoarse, but he immediately rushes to my side.
"Are you alright? I was so worried..."
"The babies..." I gasp as I see my stomach is now back to its normal size.
"Their in the NICU, but the doctors say they have a good chance."
"What happened?"
"You had a panic attack and passed out."
"Ray... He was in the apartment! I locked myself in the bathroom." He cups my cheek gently, tears glimmering in his eyes.
"I know..."
"H-how?"
"He saved you. He broke down the door and called 911 when he found you."
"Why?"
"He's changed... He's waiting outside. He wanted to make sure you were okay."
"He is?"
"Yes." I nod my head and Oliver gets up. A few minutes later he comes back with Ray. Oliver stays in the room, making me feel more comfortable.
"Hello Felicity..." I stare at my feet, not sure what to say.
"I'm sorry for what I did to you, to our son..."
"He wasn't your son!" I shout suddenly angry. Oliver places a hand on my shoulder, making me relax.
"He wasn't your son..." Ray continues to stand there.
"I'm sorry. I should go. I'll leave you alone." With that the man walks from the room out of my life forever.
It's like a weight being lifted from my shoulders. All these years, and I finally hear it. He told me he was going to leave me alone. He's not going to hurt me. He's not going to hurt Oliver. And most importantly he's not going to hurt the twins.
