Chapter 20- Together

Oliver's POV
I stand there clenching my fists knowing that my mother had scared Felicity away. I sit on the sofa and lean forward, massaging my temples. Someone begins to rub my back and turn to see Felicity.
"I thought you left?"
"I just needed to convince her I was gone, if she was ever going to leave us alone."
"So there's an us?"
"Why don't you tell me?" I pull her lips to mine and she slowly sits down next to me, our lips still together. We break apart and I just can't help staring into her beautiful blue eyes.
"You are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time."
"You are the best thing that ever happened to me. You and Thea both saved me. Just a few months ago I could never picture myself the way I am."
"Your perfect."
"Glad you think so."
"Don't ever doubt it. No matter what."
"I know... Well you need to rest if you want to be able to dance with me at the ball."
"Fine." She helps me get to the room.
"My room is next door and well Thea's is upstairs so just ask if you need anything."
"Alright. Goodnight Felicity."
"Good night Pretty Boy." She pecks me on the cheek and leaves the room. I sit on the edge of my bed for a while, just thinking about her perfect features. She's finally beginning to find herself. There's a knock on my door and Thea walks in.
"Hey Ollie."
"Mom was here."
"What, how?"
"I don't know, but she thinks Felicity left. So next time you see her mention how you miss her or something. We have to keep her convinced."
"You really love don't you?"
"Why do you say that?"
"You sure are willing to give up an awful lot to be with her."
"She's one of the best things that has ever happened to me."
"Never thought I'd see the day my big brother fell in love."
"Neither did I, after what happened last time."
"Ollie it wasn't your fault."
"It doesn't matter anymore."
