"Your health was already bad, beta. And now you've fallen from the bed too. You should've been more careful. How did you even fall?" Grandma asked, concern lacing her voice.

"Uh... well..." What should i tell her now? I began looking here and there in embaraasment. But wait why should I be embarrassed? It wasn't my fault anyway. it was his fault, because of him I fell out of the bed, he's is one who kept coming closer to me until I fell.

I glared at daksh.

He swallowed hard smiling hesitantly "Why are you looking at me?"
I mentally let out a dry chuckle. Look at him now acting all innocent.

"Who else she should be looking at, huh? What were you doing when she fell? Don't you know how to take care of your wife?" Grandma snapped.

"You take up so much space on the bed that the poor girl ended up falling" grandma said and I was having a really hard time controlling my laugh.

"I-it's not like that" he stammered.

And I shake my head enjoying the scene until Rajveer poked my shoulders. I raise my brows and look at him.

"Is he bothering you too much? Just tell me once he did that" Rajveer whispered in my ears and looked at daksh in anger.

"He'll see the worst of me!!"

"No" I whispered back. "And watch your mouth , what did I tought you yesterday?"

He just rolls his eyes, and carried on having his breakfast.

Soon Daksh's phone buzzed, he answered the call but soon I saw him struggling with the communication so to help him i picked his phone and switched it to speaker. And carried on having my breakfast.

"Hello? Am I audible?" It was Vedant's voice.

"Yeah, I can hear you now" daksh replied.

"Bro, let's meet in an hour."

"Uh... I'm a little busy right now. I have to take Aditi to the physio for a check-up, so maybe we can meet in the afterno-" daksh was speaking but Vedant's voice cuts his in the middle.

"What happened to Bhabhi? Is she alright?"

"Yeah, she's fine... just having some back issues" daksh replies.

"Bhai tu thora khud pr control nai rakh skta kya kuch din? Ek toh waise hi bhabhi ki tabet kharab hai-"

The second his words made sense in my head i chocked hard on the food in my mouth.

Meanwhile daksh didn't even let him complete his sentence and cuts the call.

There was an awkward silence, between four of us. My cheeks began burning it must've been turned red by now, i peeked to look at daksh even his ears turned crimson.
