Good Bye

Jia threw herself on the bed after returning home and went to the washroom. She looked battered as the reflection in the mirror showed a swollen face and red-rimmed eyes.

She washed her face in the washroom

She went back to her bedroom and sprawled herself across her bed, feeling upset as she recalled Rajveer talk this afternoon.

Jia buried herself in a blanket and started to wail, wishing that Rajveer would be there with her at that moment.

Jia  was usually well-mannered and staunch. She had a positive attitude toward everything and normally would not act unreasonably.

But today she felt so unhappy and helpless, not wanted to calculate or understand anything.

Sitting alone in the room, all the upsetting moments started to overwhelm her like a great rush of water.

The bedroom doorbell rang after some time.

Rajveer voice can be heard with so much concerned urging her to open the door.

"Baby please, just listen to me.
I am not controlling anything,it's just I wanted you to have yourself ready before joining the academy.

"Baby please, just open the door.

Rajveer was knocking the door and urging her to open the door.

Talk with him....her heart was clenching with pain..

Listening to his concern voice and apologized.

Pushing herself off the bed, Jia wiped her tears and glanced at her reflection in the mirror. The eyes remained red but the swelling on her eyes had at least subsided.

She let out a sigh of relief before answering the door .

To be honest, she did not dare to start the discussion. She did not want to fantasize and come to any conclusion.

She was used to loneliness after living her life alone for the past twenty years. She could only depend solely on herself whenever she hit rock-bottom. Rajveer  became someone who she could depend on, and she could finally relax and did not have the need to remain strong again. Now, she wanted to depend on him so badly.

Dust from the environment had settled on Rajveer outfit, and the night’s coolness and scent still lingered on him. The collar of his shirt was loosened . He looked tired, and helpless..

Her throat felt slightly sore and aching. She quickly got off and pounced into his embosom.

Jia  buried her face in Rajveer chest. He lowered his head, his soft and gentle gaze rested on her head. She looked like a grief-stricken child who was treated unfairly. Rajveer carried her in his embosom, his hug tightened, and sat on the bed.

Jia  inhaled deeply and fought the urge to shed tears.

I’m worried about you being alone here.” Rajveer put her on his thighs, leaned forward and kissed her on the forehead.

”I am sorry baby, I didn't consult you before taking this decision Rajveer said, his voice low and croaky possibly due to tiredness. His lips were burning hot when it brushed on her forehead, coaxing chills down her spine.

Jia shook her head as she could not speak at the moment.

Jia lifted her head slowly and stared at him with love.

Though his face appeared weather-beaten and tired, he remained handsome and mature.

He let out a sigh before explaining, “ Harsh Khanna is planning something big , and I need to deal with him full and final..

“I don’t want you to worry about anything,” he  said softly.

“I’m more worried if you don’t tell me anything. You rather tell everyone and keep this a secret from me—are you saying they are more intimate to you than I am?” Rajveer tightened his hug around her waist. He moved his lips away from her and she could notice the soft expression on his face.

“ It’s my responsibility to take care of and protect you since you’re my woman now, and I’ll give you justice if you’re wronged. My shoulders are prepared especially for you to rest on, and I want you to depend on me. Now I feel sad and upset when I see you are tangled unnecessarily in this fight ,” Rajveer said softly, his gaze gentle and loving.

“Sorry.” Jia snuggled in and her arms squeezed a fraction tighter around him.

He held Jia shoulders firmly so that she could look into his deep and gentle eyes. “I want you to enjoy your moment, live your dreams , achieve your goals and keep loving me...

Jia eyes began to water when she gazed upon his handsome face. It was no surprise that women would fall for him and went hell-bent on him.

Rajveer hugged her and stroke her hair gently.

"You must inform me first if there’s any trouble, alright?” Rajveer said softly while stroking her hair gently.

Alright.” Jia  nodded in his embosom, her cheek rubbing on his shirt.

Rajveer, his gaze and curling of lips remained soft and tender.

He leaned in softly and wet kisses on her head’s temporal region and the corner of her eyes.

Jia could not express her gratitude and affection enough for this man. He was willing to put all his matters aside and keep her safe and well protected which her own biological parents failed to do ...

In contrast, Jia felt that the unjust treatment she received was so minor that it was unworthy of him to rush around just for her.

His heart ached at the thought of her staying alone in a new place, but it is well needed for her growth and better future...

Not yet, there’s still a little bit of work left to do. I’ll take the earliest flight back there tomorrow and should be able to return home the day after tomorrow, Jia  gaze fixated on him affectionately.

She felt at ease because of him and she knew he would always have her in his mind no matter where he went. If she encountered a problem, no matter the severity, he would always return to her in a flash.

Tears started to well up in her eyes. She had not figured it out until now why such a good man existed in this world, and why she was able to be loved and cared for by such a good man.

Jia squeezed into his embosom and her arms encircled him tightly. She pressed her lips on his muscular shoulder and whispered, “I love you...”

“Hurry up and come quickly to me. I miss you very much.”..And no good bye"! She said softly... hugging him tightly...
