Alone Or Lonely?

THE DATE CONTINUES!

She had completely left it upto him on where he would take her next. To her own surprise, they landed up in a theme park!

"A theme park, really?" she exclaimed in amusement.

" Yeah, I thought why not experience some adrenaline rush together!"
She was still puzzled. She had not been to a theme park, for quite a long time now. The last time she went was with her parents, during the time when she was just about to finish school. There had not been any such outing later, neither with family nor with friends.

" Hey, where are you lost! Come let's go!"
Brushing away old memories, she walked away hand in hand with him to make room for the new Good ones that were to be made.

They took a couple entry, which was definitely a new thing for Mira. But was it a novelty for him as well??.. Mira wished to find out soon!
After going through a few extremely thrilling rides Mira was tired.
" Lets play some indoor games now" he said still with much enthusiasm.

" I'm tired. Please let's take a break for a while." she begged literally panting.

" Yeah sure, come let's sit beside the water pool."
They swiftly walked towards the pool.
" It seems you've not been to a theme park before, just a few rides and you're down." he said with an evil grin.
" No no mister, nothing like that okay! It's just that it's been quite long, real long...I am just not in my best form"
He gasped in every word patiently.
Finally, came the big one...

" So tell me, you have a girlfriend?" she asked almost hoping the answer to be no.

" No Mira, I don't have a girlfriend!" he said in his usual calm composure.
A tickle of happiness ran down her spine and through her body parts. It seemed real difficult for her to maintain that calm expression from outside, nevertheless like a real pro she nailed it!!
" You don't miss having a girlfriend?" she asked casually.
" No Mira, I actually didn't feel the need to have a girlfriend. I have always been very busy in myself and I have felt that I still am not ready to give up on me so soon and invest all my energies into somebody else! Have U missed having a boyfriend?"

" Yeah, you know I have always majorly been surrounded with people who have had partners. So to be frank, I have always missed having a partner, or precisely a confidante. All my folks would be busy catering to the needs of their partners and I would just end up catering to myself! So yeah I guess I still have that special someone spot vacant!!"
This was the first time that both had put their hearts out in front of each other. It felt good, a sense a fulfillment could be seen in their eyes.

" Cmon, let's go for some water rides" he said in a swift change of mood. Not even giving it a second thought she readily agreed.
Both took to their respective swimming costumes. He in a cool pair of black shorts, showing off his chiselled abs to mere perfection and she in a blue one piece swim suit. 
" You look hot!" he said.

" Now I can say the same about you too!" she said sadistically, slightly controlling the little giggle that was on its verge of escaping from her mouth.

Both looked into each others eyes and burst out laughing.
The water rides were huge fun. The water was cool, they swam together. The temperature of the pool of water was significant to cool them down and ooze out all the seriousness from their minds.

This change of mood played a crucial role. They grabbed a tube from the pool side. Mira was excited and wanted to sit in it first. She tried and tried, but somehow it always would triple down even before she sat.

Kabir literally went on a  huge laughter riot seeing this juvenile act. Later seeing her desperate need to sit into the tube, he lifted her into his arms and made her sit into the tube.
Mira was really happy. But more than anything else, she felt this tingling sense of achievement.
Achievement of being finally made it into the tube or of a guy lifting her into his arms.....that remained to be seen !!

He playfully, pushed her in the water made her fall, helped her stand and made her sit again! He later took to the tube himself and sensed her to hop along. Seeing the No rejection look on her face, he was more than happy to help her hop in!
There she was on his lap, swimming by the cold currents in the water pool. It was the first time she had felt this sense of being complete, with him. This tingling sensation was something she had never felt for a guy before. She actually felt aroused towards him. Mira didn't know how to battle this feeling that too when she didn't even know what he felt about her.
On the other hand, Kabir seemed at his casual best, enjoying every moment of this naughtiness in water! This made Mira even more nervous about her situation. However, brushing away her fantasies she finally managed to utter
" It's about to be lunch time. Let's get out of here and grab some lunch!"

" Sure.. Let's go"

They changed back to their morning clothes. Her hair had been amazingly wet so she had  pat dried it and tied them into a neat bun.
They went to the canteen in the park and this time for a change ordered some beverages, burgers and nuggets as part of lunch. Food must have been great, for it looked like they relished every bite they had.

" All said and done, still one thing remains unanswered by you, Kabir! " she said.

" What is it?? " he asked curiously.

" Why did you actually not leave me up to my room, that night?"

He was silent for a while. It seemed as if he was going through this confusion of Should I Tell Or Should I Not!

" Cmon, just say it please and don't worry just be frank!" Mira said being adamant.

" Mira I couldn't resist you any longer. I couldn't be with you. If I would have been there with you even for a single more second, I Know We would have end up on something else." he said with that gleam of honesty in his eyes.

Mira was awestruck. Literally speechless again! She was happy about two things though...
One that he had chivalry, in the real sense, thereby putting all talks of Ri to rest.
Second that a guy had actually found Her irresistible!!!

But again was that due to the wine they had.??

"Yeah, the wine sometimes does that to you!" she said sarcastically.

" No Mira, it was not the wine. It was You, You and only You.

Note: The direction of winds were changing and so was Mira's life, with every second she spent with him. Was this love that Mira felt for him or mere attraction which was the result of this constant attention she got from him... remains to be seen.
