Alone Or Lonely?

A DAY OUT WITH KABIR

As Mira reached her hotel, she could see that Rina had already been there quite a long time before and had been frantically waiting for her to come. Seeing the infant yet infectious smile on Mira's face, Rina was sure that she had a great time.

"Hey Miru, seems like you had a real good time!!"she said excitedly.

"Yeah I did have a great time, thanks to the awesome company I had!!" she chuckled blushingly.

"I am glad to hear that. Well, me and Sameer had an amazing time too and you know what..." she went on.

"The thing just happened!!"she beamed joyously.

"What...??"asked Mira as though she completely couldn't make head and tail of what Rina had been telling her. But seeing the unusual glow on Rina's face and the excitement that rolled out through her words she could clearly understand that it was indeed special.

"Miru.....Our First Kiss!"she exclaimed in glee.

She went on and Mira kept listening and listening and Rina in her excitement kept on blabbering about the whole incident. Mira sincerely showed her interest in listening to each and every thing that Rina told her. Mira however though, thought that it was a normal thing as both of them were in a relationship since many weeks and it was but natural for such a thing to come up soon

At dinner that night as the two girls were tired, they had decided upon for a room service instead of going all the way down to the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The room service was indeed pretty fast and efficient, as within a half an hour or so some real hot and tasty food was awaiting them at their doorstep. Some American chopsy, Sushi and Hot vegetable soup with tempting chocolate brownies for dessert was all that they had. As they were discussing their next day's plans, Mira asked sarcastically.....

"So Sameer has booked you all for himself, tomorrow also right ?"

"No Miru, I was considering about spending tomorrow's day with you as per our plan..?? I have even spoken to him about this while I was coming to our room and he also said that he was kinda ...okay!!" she said innocently.

Mira had not told Rina anything about Kabir it was not even that necessary<<<<

But hearing this coming from Rina, something in her provoked her to react that too quickly otherwise she would just loose out a chance of spending the day with Kabir and certainly she did not want that..!

She smartly convinced Rina to spend the next day with Sameer again emphasizing the fact that there were many more days for the two girls to spend time  and simultaneously assuring her that the next day she herself would have a great time too!!

Rina and Sameer had planned upon a road trip to New Jersey, so Rina had already left early in the morning. Mira woke up later, had her share of breakfast, after which she made Kabir a call. They decided to meet at her hotel lobby at around 10:30 am. Mira exclusively had an hour to get ready now. Much to her own amazement, she actually put in a lot of effort to just choose the right set of clothes. Finally, she settled on a soft white colored blouse and a dark black colored fall skirt with her hair tied up in a bun.

It was about to be 10:30 and Mira was already all dressed up and waiting for Kabir in her hotel lobby. Minutes later, he arrived in his car. He was also looking all pepped up and even more handsome than the previous day. She hopped in his car......

"Good Morning! You are looking stunning today I must say that" he said mesmerized.

She was all pink in the face and had nothing much to say. She had been at the receiving end of a varied type of compliments but this one in particular valued more than the other ones, it felt special.
