GUILA's POV

"Tell me, is there something going on between you and Louis?"

The question of her is reechoing in my ears making me feel sweaty and making my nerves tremble. I widened my eyes and then tried to remind myself, keep the composure and lie, relax and just be the tough Guila Loveland.

"Nothing, we're just working here as workers. I mean, I am the boss, he's the innovator. Umm, why did you ask me that?"

"I don't know. I just feel different and noticed those sparks in Louis' eyes especially during his talk and he was looking at you intently. You seem to like the way he stared at you. I would just like to remind you, you're a respectable leader with dignity and I know you know what I mean. You won't want to lose your career. Don't be a b*tch, he has a girlfriend," she warned me with those fiery eyes.

Suddenly, Mark Louis and his cousin, Lucy came back and the mood of Lexan changes, she suddenly flash a smile. If I am a b*tch, she is too, such a plastic.

"Can I take this naughty girl with me tonight?" Mark Louis inquired Lexan. Lucy is nodding with that devilish grin at him.

"Sure," Lexan smiled. "Anyway, where are you staying at?" she asked.

"Park Hyatt, why?" Mark replied.

"Wow! What a nice co-incidence! Maybe we can go out for dinner," she suggested.

OH MY GOSH NO!

Mark Louis looked at me and I try to act innocent. I know he's inquiring me if I'm okay with Lexan's idea.

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked him.

"Nothing," he shook his head and finally said yes to Lexan. "My boss will join us in dinner, is it okay?" he asked Lexan.

"I'm okay, I can eat alone," I said.

"No, dine with us please," Lexan said while smiling at me. She's such a fake.

"Please," Mark looked at me with those piercing blue eyes and I just melt.

"Okay," I said.

"Don't break your promise Mark Louis Carter," Lucy reminded Mark.

"By the way, we'll go now, we'll be meeting with a VIP," Mark said.

What? Who's VIP?

"Right Ma'am, Mr. Hunter," he looked at me.

Who's Mr. Hunter. What is he talking about?

"The VP for Operations."

Oh I get it. He's making an excuse.

"Yes, Mr. Hunter. Thanks for reminding me."

"Ok then, see you tonight," Lexan smiled.

I was about to walk away when Lexan stopped me, "You know what's right."

"What are you talking about?" Mark asked her.

"Nothing," she smiled.

I walked out and I immediately hopped in the car. That Lexan, I really don't like her. After few minutes he came.

"Did she say anything bad to you?" he asked me.

"She's suspecting..." I gestured us.

"She really knows me," Mark murmured.

"Where are we heading Ma'am and Sir?" the chauffer asked.

"Church," Mark replied.

The chauffer then nodded.
