GUILA's POV
"Okay, don't answer that. I am sure you did. Lovers do that," Cassie chuckled.
"Hey, we're not lovers. You gotta remember he is your fiancé."
"You love him. He loves you still. No matter how many times he insists to me that he wants to marry me, I can read what's really inside him. It's you Guila. Tell me the truth, do you still love him?" Cassie asked me seriously.
I am left speechless while she makes an eye contact.
She then suddenly smiles, "You do. Marry him Guila. Besides he's the father of your child."
What? She knows?
"Your parents told me about this. I admit I am in pain and I really want to marry Mark Louis but I can't compete with a child. It's hard when your family's broken. You know the story about my mom and dad right? I know how difficult it feels to have a wrecked home. There will always be something that is lacking. I don't want your child to experience that. I don't want that child to feel that he/she's unloved."
"I am really sorry Cassie."
"It's okay."
"It's not okay," I insist.
"Don't argue with me Guila. If you are keeping distance to Mark because of me, stop it. I know you love me and I know I am important to you but it's time for you to be genuinely happy. So... are you ready to marry him? He is waiting for you at the church."
"What the f*ck? Are you kidding me?" I asked confused.
"Let's go," Cassie then excitedly pulled me.
MARK's POV
One week ago, Cassie and I accidentally met Guila's parents in a cafeteria. They told us that Guila's going to have a baby. They didn't tell us who the father is but I am sure, I am the father and Cassie knows just by looking at me. The next day we had a heart to heart talk and I confessed my true feelings that I am still in love with Guila. I also admitted all the things that I did with Guila on the tour. Cassie was terribly hurt and I saw how so disappointed she was with me. She loves me so much and I feel so sorry that I can't give back the love that she's giving me. That moment she knew, she has to let go of me and she did. We have decided to cancel the wedding quietly and she came up with an idea, a secret wedding for me and Guila with our loved ones. I thought she was just sarcastically insulting me for the betrayal but I realized she was serious when she talked to my parents about our split and the plan to wed Guila. I was so touched and so thankful to her. After all the hurts and pain we've caused her, she's still there to support us. I know Cassie will also find her way to find her one great love.
So now I am here waiting at the church with my parents, Guila's parents and our close friends. I am nervously sitting waiting for Cassie's text. What if Guila didn't join her? What if something bad happen to them? I am worrying so much and it's so obvious. Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder, Guila's Dad.
"Don't worry. She'll come. She never stopped loving you," her Dad comforts me.
I just nodded while shaking my feet on the floor. "I am so nervous. I am afraid that she'll run away," I said biting my lip.
Guila's Dad chuckled, "Don't be. I am sure she's not going to ran away. I'll block her."
I smiled at him and he continued, "You know what, my daughter never believed in fairy tales. She never dreamed of finding her true love because she was too focused on her craft. I am so glad someone distracted her and made her realize that true love exists. That everything is not just about work."
