Chapter 36

Sorry if something seems different in this chapter, it's currently 4 am and I'm extremely tired, the only thing keeping me awake is my iced coffee. Had to write though because next few days I'll be busy with family stuff!

Hollys pov

"I don't even know why I have to tell Vik, or Simon for that matter." I state and flop onto my bed.
"Trust me. If Simon gets a text later about 'his crazy ex' he's going to be mad that you didn't tell him." JJ replies. It's almost 7 pm and me and JJ are chilling in my bedroom.
"Alright. I'm just nervous I guess." I admit.
"Just follow my lead." JJ says. I turn my head and roll my eyes at him before looking up at the ceiling again.
"We should head over there now. They're probably eating. You should tell Harry and Tobi too while you're at it, I mean, if 5 of us are going to know, the other 2 will find out." He says. I get up and shove my phone in my pocket. We walk down the stairs.
"Hey Holly, hey JJ." Jake says.
"Sup Jake?" JJ says and pulls him in for one of those guy hug things.
"Same shit, different day, yanno?" Jake says.
"I feel you man." JJ says and laughs.
"JJ and I are going to The Sidemen House. Bye." I say. I grab JJ's hand and hurry out of the house. Once we get out I let him go first, leading me into the house.
"Hey guys!" JJ says and walks into the living room. I stand a little behind him as they all stare.
"Hey! Whats up?" Harry asks.
"Well, something happened today that we thought she should tell you." JJ tells them and pushes me infront. We walk in and sit down. Ethan and Josh look at eachother and then at me. I sit there frozen. I notice Cal is there, but Simon isn't. I instantly feel a weight lifted off my chest. I'm not nervous about what these guys will say, just what Simon will say.
"Um, so today, I was at a coffee shop, and I saw the girl Simon slept with." I start. The whole room goes silent and I know I have everyone's attention. "So, I talked to her." I say. I freeze for a minute and JJ looks at me.
"By talked to her she means she yelled at her in front of everyone, threw a cup of coffee at the wall and threatened her that if she comes near this house she'll make sure the next cup of coffee that she throws will hit her." JJ tells them.
"Then I have to bail her out at the police department." Josh says. The whole rooms goes wild. Cal and Harry fall onto the floor laughing. I laugh with them because thinking about it, it was kind of stupid and crazy and funny. Vik sits in his spot trying to hold in his laughter.
"Have you told Simon?" Vik asks me. The room goes silent once again.
"I don't know how. I thought he would be in here with you guys but he isn't so that makes it even harder." I state.
"Yeah, where is he?" JJ asks.
"He's getting groceries." Tobi says.
"Alone?" I ask.
"Well he hasn't really been a 'people person' since the breakup." Cal says. I look down at my feet. "How are you doing, Holly? No one really asked you yet." Cal asks me. All the boys look at me.
"You know, I'm just taking it day by day. Yesterday was horrible. Today was better except for the whole 'almost getting arrested' thing. Tomorrow will suck, along with the next day and the day after that." I respond and shrug.
"Why will it suck?" Harry asks.
"Well tomorrow will suck because I have normal classes, which have Matts friends in them, or Matt himself. Did I mention he asked me out today? Anyways, they asked me about all of you today and I don't think that was the end of it. Thursday will suck because of the same reasons. Friday will suck because I get my test results." I tell them.
"Oh yeah! How did the test go?" Vik asks.
"Fine I guess. It didn't seem hard. Maybe I got it all right, maybe I got it all wrong." I state.
"What else do you have planned this week?" Tobi asks trying to change the subject.
"Well my mom wants me to go on a solo-mission around London to 'find out something new about myself'" I start. "Hockey tryouts on Thursday night." I say.
"I forgot you played Hockey."Ethan states.
"Yep." I respond, not really knowing what to say.
"Maybe we can all come watch." Cal suggests.
"That would be sick! But you might have to come in disguise because Matt and all his friends will be there." I tell them.
"Then we can beat him up, just like we did to those guys in Thorpe Park." JJ says excitedly.
"And then after I can clean up all your wounds again." I say. Everyone laughs, including me. I feel accepted again. I thought that since I wasn't with Simon things would be awkward here, but they're not. Maybe thats just because Simons not here though.
I stayed over at the guys house until 10 pm. Simon still never came back but Vik said he's probably just driving around, thinking. Cal and Harry walk me over to my house and tell me to text them what time Hockey tryouts are.
I go upstairs and shower, thinking about how many emotions I've experienced today. Sadness, nervousness, anger, fear, happiness. It's weird how some things can completely shift your mood. Today was a pretty horrible day until I talked with the Sidemen and Cal. Maybe I should do that more often.
