Chapter 7 - Pool Day

Holly's pov

I fee l the sun immediately on the back of my neck as I walk out of the house. Today I was going for a job interview at a small cafe, I really needed a job since I need to start saving up for a car, collage and a trip to canada, to see my friends again. I get into Jakes car, he's letting me borrow it. His car is a black Lamborghini. I step in and start the engine. Beautiful.
As I drive home from my interview I can't help but think of the boys. Their hilarious jokes and kinda smiles. They seem like amazing friends. I can't believe that they even talked to me last night, honestly. I don't know which one I like the most, and really, how could I choose just one? I wonder how far away they live and if I'll see them again soon. I wonder what their favourite thing to do is, and what they're doing right now. I pull into my driveway, as I'm getting out I hear yelling. I look around the hedges that separate our property from the neighbours. Standing there is a boy wearing a blue jumper that had a crown and 'w2s' on the back, being shot by a nerf gun, and screaming. After a few seconds I see Simon and Josh run in and smash eggs over his head. That's strange, why are Josh and Simon there? Whatever.
"How was the interview?" My mom ask excitedly, she sounds more interested in it than me.
"It went well, I think, they asked about my interests, hobbies, grades, past jobs. They said that I sounded like a good fit for the job, and that they'll call me if I get it." I say like its no big deal, but it was. It's the cutest little cafe ever, and I've always imagined working in one like it! Also their uniforms are adorable! "Now I'm going out for a swim and to tan. I'll see you later" and with that, I hurried up the stairs to get ready. I choose my black bikini that makes my butt look great and has a bit of push up for my boobs. I put a blue, loose-fitting, tank top over it and my white shorts. I grab my phone and its docking station and rush out to the pool.
Once I get to the pool I plug in my docking station and start playing a playlist called 'Todays Top Hits'. I quickly take off my shorts and top and dive into the pool. After a little while of floating around on a bright green pool floaty, that was shaped as a chair, I hear a familiar voice.
"Hey Holly, catching some rays I see?" I open my eyes to see simon looking over the bushes at me.
"Yeah, care to join me? We could just swim or we could get more floating chairs out?" I ask. I wouldn't have invited him if I was still on Canada but I'm not. Im in london and I am going to have to make some friends. Hes not the bad anyway. Actually, he's not bad at all. He's adorable, and has a cute smirk.
"I would love to! But the boys are over and I wouldn't want to abandon them" Wait. The boys are over? Is that Simons house? Does Simon live next door to me?
"Just bring them to, the more the merrier I guess" I say. He quickly nods and I hear him run to his house. In about 10 minutes I hear some rattling. I open my eyes to see 5 boys heading towards me.
"Holly, this is Harry, and Tobi, and you already know Vik and Josh." Simon says quickly.
"Uh, hi. Where is Ethan?" I ask.
"Ethan and JJ are out." I hear Vik say quickly. I look over all of the boys as they stand on the side of the pool.
"Well, are you going to get in, or what?" I ask, sounding like one of those girls out of the movies, when really, I was genuinely confused if they were going to get in or not. I hear one of them mumble something before putting my sunglasses back on. I feel a splash of water on my body, all of the sudden my floaty tips causing me to fall into the water. The boys start laughing uncontrollably. I see simon is laughing harder than the rest. So I jump onto his back causing him to flinch, making the boys laugh even hard. Simon starts splashing the boys and it becomes hectic. They were jumping on each other, Vik was commentating the whole thing. We were out there until mid-afternoon.
"Well we should probably get going. We still have to eat and we have a meet up later." Harry says.
"Meet up? For what?" I ask.
"Oh well, we're all youtubers, thats why Vik, Simon and Josh live together." Harry informs me. "We're all pretty popular and we're in a group, all 7 of us, called the Sidemen."
"Thats awesome!" I say, hardly believing that I live next to popular youtubers. "I guess you guys should get going then, don't want to leave the fans waiting" I say jokingly. We all get out of the pool, the boys gather their stuff.
"All set?" I ask, I receive nods from all of the boys. "I hope to see you guys soon then!"
"Oh you will, and if you don't see us, you'll hear us." Simon says, causing the rest of the boys to laugh. I give him a smile and turn around and walk to the patio door and walk in. What a great day with my new friends.
