Chapter 43

Hollys pov

I wake up to JJ jumping on the bed, repeating 'Wake up!' over and over again. I turn over to see him wearing a Santa hat, Cal is just waking up as well.
"Come on guys! It's time to open prezzies! You two are the only ones still in bed! We've been waiting an hour for you!" JJ exclaims.
"What time is it?" I groan, sitting up.
"7:30 am." Cal says, unimpressed. I stand up and grab my jeans and a sweater and walk to the bathroom. I quickly get ready and then walk downstairs. I go into the kitchen first, grabbing a gatorade from the fridge. I then walk into the room where the tree is.
"Merry Christmas, Canada." Tobi says when I walk in. The other boys turn around and greet me. About 10 minutes passed before Cal came downstairs.
"Finally! I thought you'd never come down!" Harry exaggerated. I sit beside Simon, snuggled into his Christmas sweater. Outside its snowing hard, I shiver and look at Ethan who's laughing at something that I missed.
We start opening presents. Tobi opens the one from me first.
"Oh my god, Holly! Thank you so much! How did you know I wanted these? Or my foot size?" He asks, coming over and hugging me.
"Lucky guess." I say, smiling at the fact that he liked them. We move on to Cal, who opens one from me too, Tobi still admiring his new shoes.
"Thank you! I really wanted this game, and the controller is sick!" Cal says, turning the controller over in his hands, examining it. The rest of the guys decide to open their presents from me, they all seemed to like what I got them. They continued to open presents from each other.
"Hey wait a minute," Tobi starts,"Holly hasn't opened one yet!" He exclaims. All of the sudden gifts are being pushed at me from everyone. I get earbuds from Cal, a purple crop top from JJ, a red crop top from Harry, a grey sweater from Tobi, a navy blue sweater from Josh and Freya, a black adidas sweater from Ethan, and a bracelet with a star on it from Vik.
"Here." Simon says, handing me a big box. The rest of the guys are opening other presents so its only me and Simon who are paying attention to this. I open it to see a few smaller boxes, a shoe box and something in the bottom. I open the first box and see a necklace.
"It looked like a sun, so I got it for you to remind you that you're the light in my life." He says sheepishly. I smile and open the next box. "That necklace has xo on it, for whenever I'm not around to give you hugs and kisses." He explains. I open a smaller box to reveal a bracelet, "I just thought that one was nice" He tells me, laughing a little. I open a box that has 2 rings in it. I examine them. "One has a spaceship because you're outta this world," He starts, with a smile "And the other has a knot because I hope we're always tied together, tightly, like we are now." He says. I hug him.
"Thank you so much Simon." I say, hugging him tighter.
"Theres more." he says.
I open the shoe box to see adorable black high-heeled boot things. I pick up a gorgeous black dress and purse.
"Thank you, but whats all this for?" I ask him, admiring the gifts (Media).
"For new years eve. We're having a huge party here, and I want you to come as my date." He informs me.
"Alright. Who's coming to this party?" I ask, trying to hide how nervous I am.
"Us Sidemen, Joe weller, Joe sugg, Oli white, Caspar lee, Callux, Calfreezy, Deji, Ali-A, Alfie deyes, Jack and Finn, Marcus Butler, Manny, JME, Shifty, The F2 freestylers, and all their dates. Maybe even more people, I'm not sure." He tells me.
"Alright. Sounds good. I'll check my schedule." I joke.
After we finish opening presents all the sidemen shoot a Christmas video. I go upstairs and call my mom.
"Hey hun!" She answers.
"Hey mom, merry Christmas!" I say.
"You too! So how's it going?" She asks.
"It's going really well. Simon spoiled me." I admit.
"It seems like he's trying to get you back." She says excitedly. I laugh and avoid the subject.
"Have you ever thought about staying in New Zealand for New Years? I'd be fine here and I think it could be a lot of fun!" I try to convince her. If she comes home she either won't want me going to that party, or she'll crash it herself and I won't let that happen. I don't want to be that girl who's mom comes to the party to just 'See what's going on'. I cross my fingers as I wait for her response.
"Are you sure you would be alright there?" She asks me, not suspecting anything.
"I've survived all this time! I really think you should stay a little while longer." I state. I hear her moving around and some mumbling. A few minutes later I hear Jake say 'Fine.'
"Holly?" She asks.
"Yeah! I'm here." I say, a little too excited.
"We're staying until the 4th or January. Don't get into trouble." She warns.
"I won't! Now I have to go mom, Bye!" I exclaim and hang up.
I walk downstairs and tell Simon the news.
"Hey. Do you want to go to London with me in a few minutes?" Simon asks me. I nod and go upstairs to get ready.
We get in the car and Simon starts to vlog.
"Hey guys! I'm here with Holly and we're going out into London and I thought I would vlog a little!" He says to the camera. He then turns it off and drives into London, never letting go of my hand.
First we go to a coffee shop and get delicious pastries and hot chocolate. He records me as I eat. After that we go back into the crowded, snowy streets of London. I hold his hand as I pull him into a vintage clothing shop. We try on hats, sunglasses, and scarves. Anything to make each other laugh.
He takes me to a snow covered park and we sit on a bench that he cleared off. It's getting late, and the sky is getting dark.
"Hol, I've had a really fun time today. I mean, you make things better. I wouldn't want to have spent my day with anyone else." He tells me. I blush.
"You're adorable." He adds, noticing my embarrassment.
"Si, I had a lot of fun too." I reply.
"I know we've been broken up for a while because I was stupid and greedy and ignorant, but I've been thinking a lot about you, and us and how you make me feel. I want to call you mine again, Holly. I know it sounds stupid because last time we we're together I fucked it up but that won't ever happen again. I want to be with you. And just you. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks. So many thoughts and emotions flood into my brain. I want to be with him too, but I can't even think about what would happen if he cheated again. I can't bare that pain. I feel sad about how we ended up last time, I feel extremely happy because I get another chance with him, I feel angry at myself for going to Boston and angry at Veronica for messing us up.
"Yes." I say, forcing all the bad thoughts from my mind. I watch as his eyes sparkle and the smile that grows on his face, exposing his dimples that I love. He hugs me tightly, for what seems to be forever, but I don't mind.
"I'm glad you said yes because all the guys knew I was asking you today and they have a nice romantic supper ready for us when we get home." He admits.
"I hope its not anything like what Vik, Ethan and I made yesterday." I laugh.
Later that night, I sit on the couch cuddled up with Simon, watching movies that have nothing to do with Christmas. I can't wait to spend more days like this with him and the rest of the guys too. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
