Chapter 26

I leave early for school because Matt said he would be there around 8 and that we should hang out before class. I only texted Simon once since we got home yesterday. He must be really busy.
"Hey!"Matt yells to me when I get out of my car.
"Hey! I'm here." I say.
"Good, did you sign up for extracurriculars yet?" He asks.
"No, where do I sign up?" I respond.
"Follow me." He says, I follow him to the Middle of the North hall and theres a huge board. I sign up for girls softball, figure skating, hockey, and girls soccer. The hockey and figure skating teams are mixed.
"I can't wait to play hockey with you. See what you've got." He says.
"Well, just don't be mad when I get captain." I say.
"A little confident are we? I'll have you know last year I was an alternative captain. I was almost the captain but they gave it to a year 12. Now that I'm in 11 I've got it in the bag." He says.
"Well, don't count on it." I tease him.
"Competitiveness. I like it." He says. We walk to the cafeteria and sit with the other guys.
"These guys all play too." Matt tells me.
"Cool. Where are all the girl players?" I ask.
"Well last year all our girl players were in year 12. So you're the only one we know of this year." Matt says.
"I hope I'm not the only one." I state.
"Well, its not like you don't have friends on the team." Tyler says.
"Who said that you all made the team?" I tease them. All the other hockey players hoot and howl. I guess this is the hockey table since they're all wearing sweaters that say hockey on them. There's about 15 people here including me so we'll all make it. I only know 5 of the boys here, but they all seem to know me.
"So you played hockey in Canada obviously, how was that?" One of them asks me.
"I don't know. It was fun." I say.
"But they're really good over there. Do you train really hard?" He asks.
"I guess so." I say. Eventually we all go to our classes.
When I go to science class after art and math, I recognize some of the guys in there. I sit by one that I think is called Chase. We get assigned that seat so we're sitting together until the semester is over. We take a selfie together when we're wearing our protective goggles and white coat things. I post it on Instagram with the caption 'we're scientists now' and tag him.
After that class its lunch and I get called to the office.
"Holly. I have bad news." The woman says.
"What?" I ask.
"Well you failed the tests yesterday and you have to take a big test on Tuesday to prove that you should be in this grade. If you fail you go back to year 10." she tells me. I start to freak out inside but I don't let it show.
"Okay. So its a test with every subject?" I ask.
"Yes. Today is Thursday and since you have to take this test, you have an excuse to miss the rest of today, Friday and Monday." She tells me. I thank her. She passes me 5 textbooks. Science, Health, Math, English, and Social Studies/History. I call Vik.
"Hello?" He says.
"Vik. I'm freaking out." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"I failed my placement test things and I have to take a big test on Tuesday and if I fail that too I'll be put back a year." I tell him.
"Oh shit. Did you tell Simon?" He asks.
"How do I?" I start, "Do I just say 'hey simon, we already knew I was stupid but listen to this, I failed my placement test and if I fail the big one I'm going back a year'?" I say sarcastically.
"Okay well we can tell him later." He says. "And I'll help you study." He adds.
"Thanks. Can you come get me early?" I ask.
"Yeah, get your stuff I'll be there in 15 minutes. And I'm bring JJ." He says and hangs up. I don't want him to bring JJ because JJ told me I can't fail. Now Not only am I failing but I might be going back. I sit in the office and wait for Vik and JJ. Its still lunch when they get here.
"Do you have all your things?" JJ asks.
"I think." I say.
"Do you have your jacket?" Vik asks.
"Oh no, you guys wanna come with me to get it?" I ask, they agree and we leave the office. When we get to my locker Matt catches up with us.
"Oh my god. Its ksi." He says, "And vikkstar! I love your videos guys you're legends." He continues. "Can I get a picture?"
"Sure." JJ says and they take a picture with him.
"Um Holly? How do you know ksi and vikkstar?" Matt asks me.
"I met them when I moved here." I say.
"Why are they in here?" He asks.
"I'm going home. I'll text you later." I say and we walk away. 
Once we get in the car Vik gets a call, he asks me to answer it.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Um Hi? Is Vik around?" A boy asks.
"yeah he's right here but he's driving, I'll put you on speaker." I say and press the speaker button.
"Hello?" Vik asks.
"Hey man!" The boy says.
"Hey Lachlan! What's going on?" He asks. I recognize his name.
"I was just making sure that we're still sharing a hotel room this weekend?" Lachlan states.
"Oh. Right. Yeah we are!" Vik says.
"Okay catch you soon." Lachlan says. "Bye" Vik says and presses end.
"Whats going on this weekend?" I ask.
"Theres a minecraft event I'm going to with the pack." He tells me.
"Shit. No, what about my test. I need to study." I say.
"Oh fuck. Okay. We'll figure something out." He says. "Lets focus on what we're going to tell Simon. He's going to be pissed."
"Okay." I respond. Soon enough we're back and I follow Vik and Jj into their house.
"Simon!" JJ yells.
"What?" Simon responds.
"Can you come down for a minute?" JJ asks.
"Yep." He yells. He comes downstairs wearing grey sweatpants and no shirt. "Holly? Why aren't you at school?" He asks me.
"Well, um. Yesterday I had to take placement test things to make sure that I should be in year 11, and I failed them all. Now I have to take a big one on Tuesday and if I fail that one I go back to year 10." I say.
"What? You can't fail that test." He exclaims.
"I know. I get the day off today, tomorrow and Monday, along with the weekend to study. Thats why I'm here." I say.
"I'm going to help her study but I have to leave at 2 am to go to Boston for an event." Vik says.
"So how is she going to learn?" Simon asks.
"Maybe she could go with." Josh says from the kitchen.
"I wouldn't mind it." Vik says.
"Would you wanna go?" Simon asks me.
"Sure." I say.
"Well then its settled. She's coming with me." Vik says. "Simon, you wanna come?"
"No, I can't."Simon responds.
"Okay, well then I'll go pack and order my ticket." I say.
"I'll take care of the ticket." Simon tells me.
"Okay I'll be back then." I say. I go home and pack my bag (media). I pack the things Im wearing tonight on the plane too because I don't want to change into it yet. I know how the boys are and I'm not risking getting whipped cream or something on my sweatpants and leather jacket. In my black backpack that I'm bringing I put in my phone, phone charger, earbuds, makeup, laptop, laptop charger and my wallet. Then I take my stuff and walk downstairs.
"Mom?" I say.
"Yes?" She responds.
"I'm going to Boston for the weekend, if thats okay. Simon is paying for it and Im going with Vik. He's been there before and knows his way around." I tell her.
"Sure I guess." She says. "Do you need anything?"
"Well I'll need my passport and maybe some money." I say.
"Okay." She gives me those things and hugs me goodbye. I walk over to the boys house and knock on the door. Simon answers it and we walk inside.
"Are you all packed?" He asks me.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." I tell him.
"Okay well its only 2 pm. You have 12 more hours here and I want to spend every second of it with you." He says and picks me up. He runs upstairs and we flop onto his bed. We cuddle and I feel like I never want to let him go. Eventually we decide to watch netflix. Half way through our movie Matt texts me.

M-Do you know all the Sidmen?:)
H-do you follow any of them on twitter?
M-Yes, all of them:)
H-well then you would know that i know them all.
M-Oh, well I'm not on Twitter a lot
H-well then yes i know them all
M-We should hang out with them sometime:)
H-im with simon right now, but they can't do that. if they hangout with one of their fans then they'll have to hang out with all of them
M-Oh well maybe just us should hangout;)
H- hmmm, maybe
M-Alright get back to me on that;)
H-okay i gotta go, peace

"He's trying to get with you." Simon states.
"Yeah, I know." I say, "It's not like its going to work."
"Why not?" Simon asks.
"Because I have you, and I like you more than him." I say.
"But he's attractive, seems chill, and sporty." Simon says.
"You're attractive, and chill, and sporty, and funny, and nice, and adorable and the boy that I'm dating." I tell him.
"True." He states.
"Now can we just get back to what we were doing?" I ask.
"Watching netflix?" He responds.
"You watching netflix and me starring at the boy that has my heart." I tell him. He blushes and kisses me. Then he presses play on the movie, and I close my eyes and inhale the scent of him. I'm really going to miss times like this over the next 4 days.
