"I'm sorry, but I've mad my choice."

Shailene's Pov:
Today we are filming the scene when Tobias finds out he's not divergent. And when Tris tells him he is the same person.

After the camping trip things got a little better but they're not the same as they used to be. We get in our places.

"Action!" Robert shouts. We stand in a lab room with "Matthew" and "Nita." "It's not that big a deal," I say firmly. "Okay?"

"You don't get to tell me it's not a big deal!" Theo shouts. "Yeah, I do!" I exclaim.

"You're the same person you were five minutes ago and four months ago and eighteen years ago! This doesn't change anything about you."

"So you're telling me this affects nothing," Says Theo. "The truth affects nothing." "What truth?" I say

"These people tell you there's something wrong with your genes, and you just believe it?"

"It was right there." He gestures to the the green screen. "You saw it." "I also see you," I says fiercely, my hand closing around his arm. "And I know who you are."

"He shakes his head. He acts like he can't look at me , can't look at anything in particular. "I . . . need to take a walk. I'll see you later."

"Tobias, wait-" I say. Then he walks out of the room. "And cut!" Shouts Robert. Everybody claps and Theo walks back into the room.

Robert walks up to us. "That was a very good scene guys. Good job today." I smile at him. "Thank you." I say.

"You guys can take ten." He says. Then he walks away and Theo walks up to me. "Good job Shai."

"Thanks." I say. "So do you wanna go out for something to eat tonight?" He softly asks. "Sure." I respond.

Then I see a women walking towards us with blonde hair. Ruth. Of course it had to be her. "Hey Theo." she says and she kisses his cheek.

"Hey." Theo sighs. "How are you? How is with filming?" Theo smiles at her. "Good. We just finished a scene today."

"So you were surprised seeing me here today were you?" She asks. Theo fakes smiles at her. "Uh yeah, I wasn't expecting at all."

"So we should go out to dinner tonight, like something fancy because I bought this new dress. How does that sound?"

Theo sighs at her. "Well actually I was-" instead Ruth cuts him off. "Good pick me up by seven because I have to get ready now."

And with that she's off. Theo frowns at me and then he walks over to me. "Shai I'm-" Then I cut him off. "That your sorry, that you want to spend time with your girlfriend I get that."

"Shai I am sorry really." I just shake my head at him. " But Nothing can make up for how much your hurting me right now." I say fiercely

And with that I'm off.

Theo's POV:

But Nothing can make up for how much your hurting me right now." She says fiercely. And with that she walks out of the room.

I'm just standing there frowning. I did not only hurt my best friend once, but I hurt my best friend twice. And this time I know why.

I wish I could make it up to her. But she says nothing can, and I don't know if I will ever talk to her again. This is my fault, I've been such a asshole to her lately.

"You ready to go?" Says Ruth. I stand in front of the mirror fixing my tie. Ruth walks over to me in her right red dress and wraps her arms around my abdomen. "You look very handsome."

I smile when she says it. "Now let's go out for a fancy dinner." I step away from the mirror and then I stop and I just look at her. She turns around and looks at me. "What's wrong?"

"I can't go, not tonight." I sigh. She walks over to me. "Why not?"

"Because I can't." I say. She gives me a confused look. "Theo just tell me."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because I can't."

"Are you having affair with her?"

"Who? Shailene?"

"Yes her!"

"No I'm not."

"Your lying."

"I'm not lying Ruth. I would never lie to you!" I say. She just shakes her head at me. "If you are, you better tell me now or things will get ugly."

"Ruth I'm not, I'm telling the truth." Then she slaps me across the face. "What the hell!"

"That's what you get for lying to me." Then she walks out of the room. Well now I got to talk to Shai.

Shailene's POV:

I cannot believe he would do that to me. He has just been such a asshole to me. He has treated me like shit and I have done nothing to him. I have been laying in bed all day. I haven't got up.

"Shai?" A voice says. I turn around and see Theo standing in the doorway of my bedroom. I turn around so I'm not facing him.

"I don't want to talk to you Theo." I say. I feel the mattress drop, of course he is sitting on my fucking bed. "Theo please."

"Shai please look at me." I just shake my head. I don't want to talk to him, I'm so pissed off right now. "Please." He softly asks.

I'll feel guilty if I don't. I finally sit up and turn around so I'm facing him. He reaches for my hand. I feel like I should pull away but I don't. He cups my hand with his palm.

"Look I know lately I have been an asshole to you and I'm sorry." Then he sighs. "But I also know the real reason your pissed off."

"You do?" I ask. He nods at me. "You like me Shai  it's simple." My heart beats fast. He finally figured out.

Then he fits his mouth to mine. He pulls back and then smiles at me. Then he leaves my room.

What a surprise...
