It's Christmas Eve! Nothing interesting happened in the past week. Lucas and I told Farkle and he was really cool about it. He started telling us both a bunch of facts about pregnancy that were actually really helpful. My bump is noticeable in tight shirts. We still havent told Lucas' parents. I hop we do soon because I dont want to be huge when we tell them! They need time to process the news like everyone else.

Anyways, Lucas' favorite holiday is Christmas so he is going all out. He helped Dad buy the tree and decorate it. He offered to help decorate the rest off the apartment and help me cook Christmas dinner. Dad decided that we would have a small Christmas Eve get together at our apartment. The Matthews, Lucas and Farkle were coming. I woke up bright and early and all ready had an urge to puke. I ran to the bathroom and poured my guts into the toilet. Yep. The morning sickness is still blessing me with its presence. The doctors told me it should stop soon and I cant wait. I brushed my teeth and walked out to see Dad watching T.V.

"Good morning." I said walking towards the fridge to get an apple. Apple is my latest craving.

"Good Morning." He responded quietly. I sat down next to him eating my apple when my phone buzzed. Of course it was Lucas.

"Are you awake? Do you want me to come over?"

"Yes and yes." I typed and pushed send. Only about 20 minutes later the doorbell rang and Lucas had arrived. He hung up his coat and pecked my lips.

"Good morning." He said to Dad and he responded the same way he did when I told him good morning.

"Okay so I figured I can get started on the ham and potatoes. And we can do all the little stuff later." Lucas said rolling up his sleeves and putting on his "Kiss the Chef" apron.

"Where on earth did you get that?" I said laughing at him.

"I bought it just for today. Because every time you walk into the kitchen you have to kiss me. The apron says so." He said getting out pots and pans.

"Well then I am staying in my room all day." I joked and he glared. I laughed and walked over to give him a peck on the lips. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of him in the apron holding pots and pans. I laughed. I posted the picture on instagram with the caption 'Merry Christmas Eve to me! 😂🎅🏻'

Lucas and I spent the day slaving over a hot oven well my dad made sure everything else was set up. Which is basically making sure everything was perfect for Cory.

"Maya! Did you move my 'Cory and Shawn 4Eva' ornament?" Dad asked panicking

"No. That thing creeps me out so I choose to ignore it." I said stirring the gravy.

"Oh. It must have fallen off the tree. I thought something horrible happened to it." He said relieved as he hung the ornament back on the tree in its spot. I looked over at my phone to see it was 2 o'clock already. The guest would be here in an hour and I was still in my pajamas.

"Can you handle all this while I get ready?" I asked Lucas who was checking food in the oven.

"Yea I've got it." He said not taking his eyes off the food.

I walked in my room and started to get ready. I already had my out fit picked out. I wore a sweater with the words 'Naughty of Nice' printed on it. Leggings, because all of my jeans dont fit anymore. My red and white christmas slippers. I did my hair in an easy and quick half up half down hairstyle and put on some makeup (picture).

I walked out and it was already 2:45. Lucas was not in the kitchen but I noticed the bathroom door was closed so he must be getting changed. As that thought crossed my mind he walked out of the bathroom wearing jeans and a button up black shirt. Dad walked out seconds after him wearing jeans and a red and brown button up. I walked over to Lucas, handed him my phone and asked him to take a picture of me and Dad in front of the tree. He grabbed my phone and agreed. My dad and stood in front of the tree. He wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest with my hand next to it. While taking the picture I whispered

"Thank you for everything." I looked up and he gave me a little nod, not wanting to get emotional in front of Lucas. After that, Dad took a picture of Lucas and I and then I took one of Dad and Lucas. By the time the guest were about to arrive.

About a minute later the doorbell rang and Dad went to answer it hoping it was Cory. Dad was disappointed when he opened the door and Farkle was standing there with loads of gifts in his hands.

"Greeting!" Farkle said and my dad frowned and walked away.

"Dont take it personally, he was hoping it would be Mr.Matthews at the door." I sais laughing and grabbing some of the gift. I placed them under the tree and stood up to see Farkle and Lucas staring at me. They were probably talking about the baby or something.

"Take a picture it will last longer." I said sassily.

"Okay." Lucas said pulling out his phone. I was posing but when I heard the doorbell ring I walked over to the door only to be slightly pushed out of the way by Dad. He opened the door to reveal the Matthews.

"SHAWNEEE." I heard Mr.Matthews said and then I saw him practically jump on top of Dad. They moved out of the door way and let everyone else in.

"Maya. You look absolutely glowing." Mrs.Matthews said. I smiled and hugged her responding with a thank you.

"Maya you look beautiful." Riley said grabbing my hands.

"Me. Riley look at you, youre gorgeous." I said and smiled and she smiled back.

"Well I think you are both stunning." Farkle said placing his arm around Riley and smiling at me.

"I second that." Lucas said placing his arm around me and the other hand on my baby bump. We all stood and talked as everyone got settled when I heard the doorbell ring. Everyone was confused because no one else was supposed to be coming.

"I'll get it!" I said thinking it was just carolers.

But when I opened the door it wasnt carolers. I was shocked when I saw who was standing in the doorway.
