15 weeks pregnant
New Years Eve, 9 pm.
It is New Years Eve and everyone is at the Matthews. Me, Lucas, my dad, and Farkle are here with the Matthews. It was 9 pm and I'm not going to lie I'm tired. I'm sitting on the couch with my head on Lucas' chest and closed my eyes.
Lucas opened the door to our new house. I walked in behind him as I held the baby.
"Welcome home baby. This is where youre going to grow up." I looked up and smiled at Lucas. He smile grew.
I walked upstairs into the babys nursery and put it in the crib. I smiled down at the little baby as it smiled at me. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see a smiling Lucas.
"Thats our baby." He said
"Yea." I responded still in shock. And then I felt his lips brush mine. The kiss was so passionate I could feel it in my toes.
I opened my eyes and realized that hopefully that is how my life will be in a couple of months. I have no doubt that Lucas will stop loving me, but I do worry that once we tell his parents his thoughts will change and he might not want the baby.
I sat up and stretched my arms. I looked over at the clock and saw it was 11:00
"Well good morning Sleeping Beauty." Riley says sitting next to me. "You almost slept all the way into the new year." She said laughing
"I was tired." I say in my defense. "What'd I miss?" I asked as Farkle came to sit on the bed next to Riley.
"Nothing much. The adults were drinking, we were talking, and oh Josh showed up with one of his friends." Farkle said
"Josh is here?" I asked excited but that slowly turned into nervousness. Josh doesnt know I'm pregnant. Josh and I were never really dating but for some reason I am still nervous to tell him. The feeling of nervousness must have spread on my face because Riley gave me s confused look and asked me,
"Whats wrong?"
"I dont know how to tell Josh.. about the baby." I said and I could hear the nervousness in my voice.
"I already told him." I heard Lucas says. At first I was mad because I thought I should tell Josh, but then I was relieved that I didnt have to do it.
"Oh well good morning." Josh said walking in the room. I laughed a little and got up to hug him.
"Congratulations." Josh said smiling as we pulled apart. I said thanks and behind Josh I noticed someone I knew. It was Bradley.
"Bradley! What are you doing here?" I said walking over and hugging. He hugged back.
"Josh invited me to come to a New Years get together with his family and I didnt realize you were related." He explained. I laughed a little when he said I was related to Josh.
"Oh no Josh and I arent related. Hes related to my best friend Riley." I said pointing to Riley. He nodded.
"Hi I'm Lucas." Lucas said putting his hand out for Bradley to shake. Bradley did and looked at him.
"So this is Lucas? The babys father?" Bradley asked just to make sure.
"Yes this is my boyfriend Lucas and yes he is the babys father." I said snuggling up to Lucas.
"Um. Maya can I speak to you in the kitchen?" Lucas asked. I nodded unsure of what he wanted. I walked with him to the kitchen.
"Where on earth did you meet to him and how does he know everything about you?" Lucas asked with irritation in his voice.
"I met him at the coffee shop after you told the entire school I was pregnant! I was upset and he was willing the listen!" I said defending myself and Bradley.
"Maya I dont think you should go around telling people our personal business. You did it with that Chloe chick and now you did it with this guy." He said motioning to Bradley.
"I'm sorry. I just needed someone to talk to." I said getting upset. I know I shouldnt cry but my hormones are all over the place.
"Just dont do it again." He said sternly. I walked over and hugged him.
"Yes dad." I smirked
"Hey, I dont get that title until May." He said smirking and placing his hand on my bump. He grabbed my hand and walked back to the group. No one said a word to us and continued on with their conversations by this time it is already 11:45.
We walked back into the living room and met up with all of our parents. Until the countdown started we all talked. Topanaga and I talked about the baby.
"We are 10 seconds away from it being the new year." The host of the New York New Years show said into the microphone. The 10 second countdown appeared on the screen.
"10, 9, 8, 7,6,5,4,3,2,1" Everyone chanted. We all screamed when it got to one. I spun around and felt lips touch mine. I kissed Lucas back but it felt different. I pulled away knowing there was no way I was kissing Lucas. I looked into brown eyes that belonged too....

Anyways I am super sorry for not updating high school is crazy and I'm still trying to get used to everything so I didnt have time to update but I promise I will try my hardest to get as many updates as I can up each week.
